4t Endo Steel vs 4.5t endo steel chassis
both with 13t of FF armour (closer to max on the 85t)
340xl vs 360xl (both give you a 400 engine cap, proven by the MAD-IIC with it's stock 340xl)
1t JJ's vs 2t JJ's...
Just 5t, makes it so much better...
Hence I await the arrival of my 85t MAD-IIC with baited breath. One of the jumpy ones even has ballistic slots.

The Mad Cat had it's missile launchers sunk into it's chest, rather then the original 'Catapult Ears.'
And I guess it's just my personal opinion, but I think it looks like crap because of it. So I maintain that 'mutilating' the original art is the only way to fix it's hitboxes.
Of course, it is art, so everyone's free to disagree with me. It's all subjective.

But this I'll truly chuck cash at my screen for.
That's the Savage Wolf or Mad Cat MKIV. It doesn't show up until 3136 and is a 75t Heavy.

Still a Kodiak, and it was a Kodiak that highlighted a loop hole with the UAC/10, that got crushed, hard. Funny no-one called the quad UAC/10 Dire Wolf OP....

6x UAC5 was always more popular. Plus, the Dire was stuck with that XL 300 engine.

Having had run both, the Hex-UAC/5 was not a great build... good for suppression, not great for killing. the Quad-UAC/10 killed very, very well, and with such low ghost heat at the time, you could double tap all four for relatively minor heat. Not so much thanks for the Kodiak 3....

I did not know that.
MW4 did some bad, bad things....
Like letting people think mechs like the Bushwacker and Mad Cat Mk. II were omni's.... And MekTek didn't help by making things like the Black Lanner have a 360 degree torso twist....
Anyways, as CK has seen before, this is a re-worked Mad Cat Mk. II as an efficient Omni-mech (a true successor to the Timber Wolf)

Lol, i didn't even played MW4 -- i just plain didn't know. I just figured that since it's TBR's bigger brother, and DWF's smaller brother, it's an Omnimech too.
Who knows though, maybe PGI would go derp and make Mad Cat MKII an omnimech in the game.

The TBR doesn't suffer from hit boxes because of how they did the missile boxes and because you can't use the mech without them. As for the Ebon Jag, the wide nature is actually does hold it back from being top tier like the Timby, if it wasn't so wide (and had rough hitboxes) it would probably be used over the Warhammer. The most meta builds on the Ebon Jag avoid using anything in the arms which is why it does so well, with assaults, especially this particular one, those wide arms when you are forced to use both will make this mech worse off than some people seem to think.

Do you realize how much salt PGI would get from me alone if they did that? I might actually put together the money to go to the PGI headquarters personally to dump salt containers all over every single computer in that building if that were to ever happen.
