Yeah, its typically "5 days before release", I'm just impatient and wondering why they are waiting so long to update the countdown.

Armor bonus too?
Not many mechs get that.

Just the ones under the xp bonus. So the weapon ones. looks like they intentionally made one into the meta goose erML boat with quirks. The rest seem ok'ish as far as hardpoints go. The mg RoF one is the only one I'm really enjoying though :D. All in all looks like it faired better than the last couple quirk wise. But I'm sure the forums will catch fire in a little while anyways.

Wow. They are much better than I anticipated. Sadly the weapons quirks are probably set of 8. But armor and structure quirks are well worth it!

Yeah... but goose ERML isn't really meta any more, especially with only 3 lasers Posted Image That is obviously what I'll be doing with that mech, but I'm a little bummed the Redline got no quirks for its energy weapons.

Not sure why the Redline didn't get more love from quirks. But you know that can always change!

It's only not meta anymore cause everyone is doom and gloom over the ED/PD damage cap. hopefully the goosie/pep crap will calm down a bit. kinda sick getting into games where everyone's loadout is cookie cutter plus or minus a goose or ppc depending on tonnage/hardpoints.makes it stale when I like to brawl and everyone trying to maintain a 600m gap. And I flat refuse to do the same loadout just to fit in. I'll slam my silly mech against them anyways and see what happens.

:edit: Even if it means I'm a "bad" player. I know my flaws, I'm super aggressive and favor that kind of playstyle. Nothing is gonna change that

I'm very much a "run against the wall until you break it" sort of player. I try more cautious and safe builds and playstyles, but brawling in Lights is so much more satisfying Posted Image

Its well understood that brawling in the solo queue is risky because of the teamwork required.. you need your teammates to back you up, and most of the time that doesn't happen. If you are in the group queue, brawling can be OP in many situations.

ER ML/Gauss builds got nerfed pretty hard by the ER ML range nerf and the Gauss cooldown nerf, which is why they have fallen out of favor. ED has nothing to do with it. They are still decent, just not really optimal. Right now its all PPFLD and dakka that really dominates, especially on the Clan side.

from my play with the summoner/nova I would guess the quirks will be not be 8 set based for the majority of the bonuses. I would imagine traits like ERPPC are tied to the pod associated that variant. The speed and movement perks I am guessing will be like the MadDog and be based on the variant/center torso.

This is my hope at least since this is my first preorder.
