Still think a ghost jam mechanic might be a good one, though. Single UAC is too high risk.

What you fail to realize in this thread and the others about this topic is that this doubletap feature is THE defining reason for a UAC to exist.
But of course, everything is right in your book cause your precious IS UAC didnt really get touched while changes to the clan ones are severe when not boated. This change simply fixes nothing, just like the change to the KDK 3 fixes zip of the problems but gimps every other KDK variant.

Suppose they made it worth taking a single UAC. That would be great for UACs. What about on the other side of the fence? How would we make it worth taking a single AC/5, for example?
I feel like ACs and cACs ought to get bonus velocity and shorter base cool-downs, rather than bonking the UACs continuously.

cAC need to be deleted. Clans did not use standard cAC. Standard IS AC already weigh less than IS UAC, and it would be fantastic if they got extra ammo per ton vs the UAC, for additive weight savings.

Doesn't mean one should be allowed to double tap brainlessly, especially for CUACs that are so light and compact. Post patch, one has to decide risk vs. rewards when double tapping CUACs, which suits me just fine. My dakka boats are still performing well, BTW.
