Must we flood the forum with threads to get a response? How many new players are being driven away while pgi does nothing?

This is an issue that is open to abuse and exploit due to the nature of free accts and trial mechs.

There is NO reason not to take his seriously and deal with it promptly.

Anyone who suggests otherwise is suspect...

They ban these accounts as soon as they get enough reports about it in the email or twitter. No point in posting on the forums about it. In the meantime the griefers have to deal with logging multiple accounts to get around the penalty system, which is annoying and limits the amount of damage they can cause.

That's one of the few perks of being in T1 - griefers with alt accounts can't get into high tiers instantly. I also haven't seen any TKing for a while.

Its not meant to be fun. Its griefing. Having a bad day? Sucked at work? Gotten beaten because you suck at a game? You suffered now lets grief others because you are a piece of ****. Thats more the motivation i guess.

Haven't seen intentional TKs for ages... or even some aimed shots at a teammate at round start...

Sure, you get a TK here and there in a match, brawls are hot and close these days, I even got a TK with streaks (i mean wtf, but he jumped into them within 20meters or so).

Have you some video proof of griefing? And besides TK, what is griefing in this game?

If you mean something like standing in the back of another mech so he can't escape the enemy firing line... well that's potato all way but no griefing

But you are tier 1. Team Killer accounts start at tier 5 and don't live long.

I believe we're all talking about the same person, and yes, he is using multiple accounts, all with the same basic name with different spellings. Did a search of this website and on reddit, and apparently he's been around before, at least as far back as early 2015. Just goes to show you that PGI can't cure the disease, they can only treat the symptoms after the fact, but it ends up being an endless game of Whack-a-Mole.

For some people, breaking the game and ruining the fun for everyone else IS the game. It has been that way in virtually every online game that I have played where players interact with one another.
