Did someone just complain about a legitimate tactic as per the game rules?

Damn! I've been away from CW for far too long. FYI, the generator rush "problem" was already solved in a few days by players who figured out the counter. In addition, PGI had instituted long ago a few changes to make it more difficult.

a legitimate tactic that puts the users at half the total tonnage of their opponents. and a tactic that with a quick google search should show you the counter to it.

what is the cause of your dislike for us dude? sure we do gen rushes. we do not always. sometimes we do. Our reasons are our business. we can and have brawled it out. if you haven't got a match with us doing that, that is not our problem.

Actually I posted a constructive point on how to minimize gen rushing. If you did not whether you're next drop would be an invasion map with gens are a general brawl map you would be less likely to bring gen rushing mechs.

For those who are interested in stopping gen rushes see the below link, on page 2 there is a video on how to stop gen rushes by one of the best units we had in this game, best not only in skill but ability to troll.

https://mwomercs.com...va/page__st__20

In short, body block the damn gens, they cant hit what they cant shoot.

If i have an issue with gen rushing then what makes you think id be ok with gen blocking? Both are wrong. Gen blocks are just defense ques version of gaming the aystem.

So let me reatate my comment. There is no acceptable strategy for the IS to stop gen rushes.

So you say gen rushing is gaming the system, going objectives, and the way to stop gen rushes is to stick a mech in front of the hole in the cage the mechs have to shoot through to stop them, is gaming the system too.

Get over yourself, you have been given a perfectly valid way of stopping it and you choose not to use, hello to bad win/loss ratio and life of frustration.

you not being ok with it does not make it an unacceptable strategy. its not like either tactic is using a wall hack or an aimbot in a shooter. those are unacceptable because they are cheating. a team going for an objective and not fighting the way you think they should fight is not wrong and is ultimately your problem. take out the lights legs and they are done. scouting and positioning better will let you know what your opponent is doing before they enter the gate. this whole thread is just crying about how your facing opponents who refuse to throw themselves onto your sword.

I'm just going to throw in the other side of this argument that players also complain bitterly about.

That being teams that do not go for the objectives against an inferior opponent and instead push them back to the drop points and farm the kills to get more c-bills instead of the 'mercy killing' of taking down the Omega so that everyone can try again and hope for a better match.

Counter Attack is where the longer battle usually takes place, but even then, it may end in the above scenario of drop zone farming.

The setup of the mode, the maps, the grind to get as many sectors as possible to flip the planet.... it all really reduces FW to use the limited yet most effective drop decks and tactics available.
Without a significant overhaul to FW to change the concept and design, don't expect this to change.

So you don't want to play the game objectives. Instead you just want to mindlessly shoot robits. Got it.

No wonder MWO gameplay is in the fracking **** hole. <smh>

Who say's they are WRONG. That's just your opinion.
It's playing within the rules, so it's NOT WRONG.

You know EXACTLY were the enemy will attack, so do something about it.

It's playing within the rulez

People play to win, not to appease the enemy

lol naterist i see you dont play with groups or thet your groups dont know how to play.

To counter a gen rush, assumeing one is coming, is simply to leg them all, get everyone to push out into them and ONLY shoot legs. works most of the time, cant rush with one leg.

Its not hard to do just aim, even unorganised pugs can win if you do that, at the start of the mach tell everyone sure some wont lesten but that is the game when pugging.

Naterist,

I'm sorry but we had you on a team last night and you msg me wanting to merge your scrub group with mine. your scrub lance prob had 2000 Dmg between the four of yall. Invite Denied. Get your game up. [REDACTED] are scrubs. They can't win against organized 12 mans. Or 6 Man. Scrub tactics like Gen Rushes is the only way they can win or a skirmish match with skittles group.

[REDACTED]Ragnar the BNB player that comes to our group. Bro you can never score over 800 dmg when your with us. You have no game to talk.
