What?
HBS beta on Dec 21st. Looking forward to some new standing models from HBS. And since they are working with PGI I am guessing we will see some of that badass art as standing mechs! I am hoooooooooooping for 1/60 scale!

Something like this perhaps (but 8" tall and showing battle damage).

However, if they offer figurines and models... my wallet will be open.
I was that ridiculous old guy at MCM London in October, wore the hat on the Tube.
Not a solitary glance.
Which isn't that surprising when your surrounded by three Jokers, two Spidermen, four Darth Vaders, and a hot twenty something, almost falling out her Harley Quinn corset

With the license so split as it is, it probably wasn't as easy for pgi to go to Topps for the merch rights, as their license is with MS for MW rather than BT. And I'm sure it helps when the original creator of the IP is coming back to get back in the saddle of BT.

Yah, if we're being fair... Jordan Weisman, one of the founders of HBS, has created and sold multiple companies. One of those companies was a little outfit know as WizKids. Which he sold to... wait for it...
Topps.
I think it's safe to assume he knows some people over there.

HBS licensing is with Microsoft as well. Microsoft own all rights to Battletech/Mechwarrior computer IP (From buying FASA interactive). Russ commented on twitter (a year or so ago) that HBS has the same licensing agreement that had the same license as HBS when it came to merchandise. PGI could have "given" away merchandise with MechPacks if they wanted to or in the founders program, they just (until now) could not sell any Battletech related Merchandise directly.

If they offer the Rifleman....that's going to be a hard one to say no to. Or the Jester. That'll open my purse for sure.
