That said, lots of bad *** female pilots in the universe.

With the forum censoring words for human body parts, what is left of the sentence sounds quite misogenic.

They follow the same rules as WWII bombers that were all named after pinup girls.

Every mech in this game is female.

Notice the voice that talks to you? That ain't Moe from the pub talking.

If you aren't comfortable with your mechs being girls, then you should've asked more questions back in 1986.

You have to delete the i. off the front of your image link for it to work.

I'd 'fix' it for you, but I thought you may want to re-think using that specific image. I don't mind, but others might.

Not 100% true. There are an awful lot of Atlas's named Big Ben.

And your improper use of grammar makes yours sound like a sad attempt at virtue signalling.

Oh, are we nitpicking syntax again?

In that case, what you just corrected is spelling, not grammar. Spelling is different than grammar.

Gawd.

Well, the reason why, for what I believe, Warframe has both masculine and feminine frames is because before the Second Dream quest the frames were thought to be suits of armor that were conduits for the Void powers the Tenno possessed, instead of what actually seems the case right now (the frames are still conduits, but not actually a suit). And back in the days before the long slumber, the Tenno didn't have wardrobes full of different frames. So the male Tenno got masculine frames and the female Tenno got feminine frames.

Gameplay-wise: the genders of the frames were chosen to fit their theme and role, most likely.

In case of MechWarrior, the looks of the 'mechs are the way they are right now, mainly because of efficiency (it's probably easier to make bulky 'mechs rather than 'mechs with curves) and/or to intimidate the enemy (I believe the Atlas was built for this. Correct me if I'm wrong).

The things I mentioned may or may not be actual facts.

Also, Valkyr Prime is best frame.

That Atlas was built to be scary as **** in both performance and appearance. Back when it was first produced it was the most indomitable 'mech on the battlefield if I'm not mistaken. That is no longer the case in the current timeline but way back when, the Atlas was the ultimate battlemech.

Hello all,
I am not really very familiar with the Battltech universe but I was looking through all of the mechs the other day in game and unless I am blind I noticed that every single mech appears to have a masculine frame.

By that I mean mechs have bulky arms and chests, overall proportions and designs that appear much more like a "guy" than a girl. Some way more tough guy looking than others.

I was curious, is there space in the game for feminine looking mechs?

If anyone has played warframe for instance, that is a good idea of the kind of thing I mean, having both masculine and feminine frame designs.

For the right price I'm sure PGI could design a purse you could equip.

I still like what Kerensky had to say for the Warhammer:

Quote

Alexander Kerensky:

a mobile 'Mech with enough firepower to destroy or severely damage any 'Mech.

It's really fitting for the Warhammer, as it is one of the few mechs that can make even an Atlas pause.

Thanks for confirming.
I'm still a newb when it comes to the MechWarrior/Battletech lore, so I was a little hesitant because it was something I've heard.
I didn't want to be pelted with shame for saying something wrong.

Always thought of it as East vs. West art style. Sleek and sexy vs. Industrial and gritty. Probably the main reason I preferred MW over other types of Mecha.

Robotech has all the feminized mechs flown by 15 year old teen girls, not so much battletech.

No?

No pilot in Robotech, any robotech has been a 15 year old girl...

Macross yes... but Macross 7 is bad, very bad.
