Either way, keeping your head above the 60fps water line the vast majority of the time is more than sufficient for most people. Again, I didn't expect the 480 to do poorly, either. It's just nice to have the extra data to point to when somebody asks.

My main monitor is a LG 27EA73LM, according to LG site specs about refresh rate: Horizontal 30 -83 kHz; Vertical 56-75 kHz
So... just 60fps or would it be 75fps possible?
Resuming...
MWO is VERY CPU demanding... so i7 6700K should be my first aim
About RAM... depending on motherboard chipset I can opt for:
-B150 chipset and 16Gb of DDR4-2133 CL14 for 200€ (215$)
------MSI B150M Bazooka
------Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 16GB(2x8GB) CL14
-Z170 chipset and 16Gb of DDR3-3200 CL17 for 300€ (320$)
------MSI Z170A Gaming M3
------G.Skill Ripjaws V Black DDR4 3600 16GB(2x8Gb) CL17
Main prize difference is in the motherboard, the 2133 vs 3200 is only for 20$ difference...
Considering my monitor and the fact that I don´t play many other games (in fact I´ve been 2 years without playing any Pc game, only playing on PS4)... which graphics card should I aim?
-Asus Dual GeForce GTX 1070 OC 8GB GDDR5 - 439€ (473$)
-Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB GDDR5 - 279€ (300$)
-Asus Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5------------------ 295€ (318$)

If you can afford it, get the GTX 1070, if not, get the RX 480 over the GTX 1060

According to the prices, the GTX 1060 is a few dollars cheaper than the RX 480. Since the GTX 1060 performs slightly better, runs cooler, and uses less energy on top of that, there is literally no reason other than fanboyism to recommend the RX 480 in this situation.

*bias alert, I am an ATI/AMD/RTG fanboy.
Actually, the 480 is a lot closer to the 1060 than it was, and that was before the Relive drivers.

However, you are sort of correct, the price differential is the biggest factor at this level. So, basically, 1060 or 480 depending on price/fanboyism.

Yeah, with driver improvements they get a little bit closer every couple of months I suppose. Still, even if the performance eventually becomes parity, save $18 now and then save $1 every month for the life of the product vs spend $18 more now and spend an extra $1 for every month you own the product. On average, the 1060 is going to cost you $40 less for the two years somebody would normally have it (at the prices posted above, anyway).
It's kind of odd, I thought the 480 was cheaper than the 1060 here in the US and Canada.
In OP's situation, though, there is literally no reason to get the 480 outside of brand loyalty. If he is, the 480 isn't going to be a bad decision. It's just not the better decision.
