I wonder if camera angles (all shots from the left) have something to do with 6 decals restriction

Yes, and just because the concept art didn't match with the mech sheet.

She does pack much back. We've got this turkey just in time for Christmas dinner.
Seeing the low torso Energy points, though, kills my hope that I could mount a second torso "shoulder cannon". Seems the right Energy point will be belt mounted :/

Yeah, I learned my lesson with the Kodiak. The best Mech in the game and I do not like it. The Marauder IIC looks great but I will just stick with my Heavy and Medium class rides. Oh, and the Purifier.

But wow does it look great! The modeling team did an excellent job translating the concept art over to 3D space this time around. Easily my favorite assault in MWO in terms of visuals now.

PGI's version just looks like a fat, bulbous, overweight marauder.
I think the images you posted are actually this(whatever it is):
Notice how the torso is triangular and wing shaped rather than like a normal marauder.

The images he posted are the Unseen Marauder IIC the mini and the image from the TRO it was introduced in. The image you posted is the Macross Glaug Tactical Pod(what the original unseen marauder image is based on) with a Power Up booster attached to the back of it.

At the release time you will get fantastic quirks and later after the Cbill release you will get nerfs.

Energy draw didn't make the game any less balanced. Like then and now, assert without demonstration. Good thing shouting things down in today's world is a good way to superseded evidence.
Never enough Video evidence, just constant Forum hypothesis, which people know will never be proven.
Energy draw would have made the game less balanced, yes. Why do you think mixed builds should be hindered equally to boat builds? Why do you think firing LRMs too close to medium lasers should melt your mech? Were you looking forward to triple PPC being the absolute go to loadout?

Do you actually believe that or do you just want to spread your salt everywhere? I don't remember any Mech that was overquirked right from the beginning until C-Bill release. KDK-3 would be the only Mech that you might be thinking of (even though it wasn't even quirked in the beginning and had broken hitboxes, if you remember), every single other Mech was ok.

It wont get any quirks.
If it still does then we have another KDK-3 fiasco on our hands.

It could get some structure quirks - the hitboxes seem pretty big. And I don't see how it can turn into a KDK-3 It just doesn't have the potential firepower for that.
