How to use these patch files



• Download the above file(s)
• For sake of ease we recommend creating a dedicated folder for the patch file(s), such as 'MWO Patch Cache'
• You do not need to unzip or unpack the patch file(s)
• Launch the standard MWO launcher
• Click the gear icon in the top right of the launcher window
• Choose the 'Specify Patch File Cache' option
• In the field that appears, paste or enter the location in which you saved the patch file(s) and hit OK
• For example, C:Users<username>DocumentsMWO Patch Cache
• Click the blue Patch button
• The launcher will now check the Patch Cache folder you defined. If it locates the required patch files, it will unpack and use those files to apply the patch.
• Once the patch is complete, launch the game!

Please everyone here, stop whining about clans laser vomit this and that. You all are crying becuase youre no longer broken anymore. And its a Common Place on here that the same people whine and whine when anything happens to the clans becuase it will be so "OP".

Let me remind you all of damn near instant laser burn time of the IS mechs, Warhammer, Grasshopper, Thunderbolt, and Battlemaster.

These mechs are the best laser mechs in the game so please let me hear how these mechs arent broken with some valid explanation other than yelling Clan "OP".

Lolz. I've seen the general comments of lazorspammz iz backz! But nothing clan specific. Chill out man show me on the marauder IIC dolly where the bad Battlemaster touched you. Then you can get your wave 1 2 and 3 blankie and go rock yourself to sleep in your safe place.

I just wish solo players got some love. I've supported this game with plenty of cash and I don't play in groups, ever. I chat with the people I'm in a drop with but that's the end of it. I work hard to integrate my play in most drops with those around me because it's more fun...but I don't like the rigid group dynamic and I don't think most people do either. I just think there's so many ways to make solo play more useful/fun while not hurting group play. Just having real scouting objectives in the game would help so much...solo players can just go do them while organized groups would still do it better. Think Alterac Valley mines, that level of thing.

You also still really really REALLY need to kill the "damage is the only metric we use for cash and points" thing. There are so many ways I've helped a team but if I don't get damage while doing it...it's a pitiful return on my time.

I've said that before as well. Rewards for capturing points or spotting or providing AMS/ECM cover are paltry in comparison but are often just as dangerous as skirmishing and, since usually assigned to lighter mechs, often more difficult to achieve successfully more than once or twice in a match. This, more than anything, is what leads to the 'skirmish-only' mindset of a lot of QuickPlay pilots, I think - no matter the mode, they rush into battle. How many matches have I been the only one in the circle, or have we lost to caps because I'm the only one capping?

I'm encouraged by the changes in Faction Warfare, as it seems like it will reward specialization - something that will cater to soloist, methinks.

Rofl crippling depression, nothing applies here, where would you go. When trolling fails because you cant focus on the proper aspects of trolling learn the art of trolling then come back and try harder. You provide comical value to me I enjoy it, keep it coming.

Finally some real FP improvements, how it all wil play out we'll see.


UNITS: Here is where is think you made a mistake to stick to the 15mc, now only the biggest units will take the planets.
So the sub top 4 of each faction will almost never be able to gain a planet let alone for a longer periode.

The divide of MC's has to be different. This will not be fair to the sub-100-50 member units.

It's about ******* time. Keep releasing mechs to pad that pocket book all the while neglecting the gameplay which is really what keeps players playing.

It s normal behaviour. Do not expect any good work from PGI. It already started but their upload capacity is absolutely rubbish. 30 kb/s downloading :D

What improvements? Factions queues merge cures consequences of bad FW design, not the bad design itself.

Pleasantly optimistic to see what the changes influence and effect. I am part of the old guard Battletech players though and have to admit i fear and push back against change. Posted Image
