So, PGI is going to remove the modules?!

What happens with the existing modules? Is there any "money back" thingy planned?

I own 200+ Mechs, every single one of them equipped at least with seismic and radar dep. and half of them with 2 weapon modules equipped.
You don't have to be a genius to say that it is a whole effin lot of money spend into modules.
With modules being removed you better do something better than the usual half-price sale thingy.

So what's the plan PGI?Posted Image

Full refund, they said.

I'm looking forward to over a billion CB.

Welcome to last week.

Please take a look at the literally dozens of threads that were written. Every single aspect of this is change complained about, debated, conjectured, theorised and - to a large extent - clarified.

Wasn't online the past two weeks, I was looking for a thread, but Forum search sucks, there is no "general feedback sub forum" and haven't found anything the first three pages here, so I asked :)
But thanks, your answer wasnt helpfull at all.

You can always count on those who feel superior to chime in. :) And yes the search feature is horrible but you won't lose anything in the switch you will just have a big bank account. Invest wisely my friend. I doubt I will buy anything in the the new skill tree till i fully understand it.

This and this and this are on the second page.

You're welcome.

And there is also the Roadmap, posted in Announcements, but who ever bothers with that, right?

Quote

All past Module purchases will be refunded to you in whole, and all GXP and 'Mech XP spent on Skill or Module unlocks will be carried over as 'Legacy GXP', to be used at-will for unlocking new nodes in the revamped Skill Tree system for any variant.

Only "superior" people, apparently.

I like helping people. But hell, after the 5hitstorm here over the last week about the skill tree and modules, surely it can't be too hard oneself to find one of the literally dozens of threads on the subject.

Next up: a thread entitled "Was there some kind of Mech tournament recently"? Posted Image

Full refund - safe to assume it will be the full purchase price and not resell price?

Also - will we get CBills for the modules that were given as pre-order bonuses and event rewards, or is the full refund of a zero-CBill purchase price considered zero CBills?

Will we keep the "Improved Consumables" unlock that we spent GXP on, or are those gone as well?

Consumables are at least equally crutchy as modules, and since mods are about to be gone this means that cons will be the only crutch left.

Even though it was a placeholder, the old modules were skills you could get in the mechcon video. Could be we aren't losing them so much as they got rolled into that along with quirks.
