Nova S > Nova prime. Wubs for the wub god!

But you can't turn your entire mech into a natural disaster if you fire all your weapons on it! I enjoy the MGs, but having only half the lasers of the Nova Prime makes me sad.

2:1 WLR in the solo-q doesn't necessarily qualify it as OP though. My KDK-3 had 4:1 WLR and 5:1 KDR in 55 matches. Now that was OP. I did point out that Summoner CERPPC quirks need reduction after the Loyalty mechs, with their high mounted chest points came out.

Well, I'm not exactly great at winning battles; I normally hit around 1.3 W/L, not 2.0+ like I am in my Summoners.

My next best heavy mech is my Black Widow, but I only have 21 battles played in that. Even then the stats are only 1.63 W/L, 2.67 K/D, 1.52 Kills/Battle and 605 damage/battle.
My damage/battle is comparable to my overall damage/battle in my Summoners, but in the same recent play in my Summoners I was hitting 739 damage/battle.
And every other stat is lower, which makes it doubtful I could maintain that damage/battle.

Next best after that is my Ebon Jaguars; combined all 3 variants I have 40 battles, 1.67 W/L, 2.41 K/D, 1.32 Kills/Battle and 478 damage/battle.
After that is my Timbies, which I admit I've played rather poorly in.

It's just the loyalty torso energy mounts allowing high mount dual ERPPC pop-tarting with the rest of the summoner's heat and PPC quirks. If everyone had access to the torso mounts, then it wouldn't be as big a deal.

I'm terrible at the game, but I'm starting to get good matches in the Adder Prime with its lore build. Should we nerf Adders into oblivion because of that? I'd hope not. Same way I hope PGI doesn't nerf Suckonners into the ground because people are doing good in them for the first time without needing a degree on how to pilot the damn thing.

You know, I thought we already had this "Summoners OP" discussion a couple months ago, and I believe I was the one who inadvertently started it...

So I get to blame you for this? I'll go with blaming you for this then.

It would be even more of a deal. Everyone then can poptart much easily. Summoner poptarting is possibly the easiest among all mechs.

Though to be fair, my stance was/is more that "no heavy 'Mech should be able to effectively pop-tart, that's reserved for mediums to combat said heavies" rather than specifically "Summoner OP."

That is just dumb. The balance problem is that Clan weapon and equipment are just base line better than IS. It's the quirks that make it messy.

Not so black and white.

Some mechs, for instance, have terribad hitboxes, and need structure/armor quirks to stand a chance. Archer, anyone?

Okay, that statement legitimately makes me angry. I wish you hadn't told me the actual story behind it.

I havn't even played the nipple peeps. I just hate the idea and the principle. And that's from someone that played the s*t out of dual PPC Summoners before.

I agree with nerfing the ppc high mounts, its just looks too easy. Don't affect the low mounts though, they are barely viable now.

Besides, all this attention on the PPCs. And MPL summoner still goes on unnoticed. I've kinda stopped playing it after endless cheap kills. Now I'm leveling a Jester and it really is 1/4th the mech as summoner is, if that.

1002 damage and one kill.

That's rough, buddy.

Set of 8 PPC quirks seems like a good solution.

Another way I'd like is if Clan omnipod weapon quirks only applied to weapons mounted in that pod, it would also make sense.

Yes lets do this and nerf the OP Summoner.

Yeah I gave their assault lance a good work over and all I got for it was a solo kill on the Stalker. :P
