days 2 and 4, drop many times to get game mode and win

days 8, 10, 12 ... all depends on where planet push/pull system is at ... may not even get a chance for the mode. feels not quite as the 1kill, 1 assist, on specific map, win, and don't die event but close

Wow i suppose i got very lucky. Second match, escort defense mission and somehow we won. Died but the Lyran social general made it of the field, yeah statue!

Same for me, played for 3 or 4 hours today, not a single escort mission.

@PGI: Have to echo the complaints of others... Many hours of matches, 17 games, only one single escort mission was even made available (match 15) and my side fails to win as the VIP is overrun and shot through the back CT. To be blunt, I did not believe that any company could manage to generate more hate for excessive RNG than Blizzard and their WoW legendaries. Congratulations, you just did it. /sarcasm off

On a serious note, please do something or a hefty portion of player base is going to be upset for "auto-failing" several days. We have limited time (our time) within a limited time (24 hours) with a RNG chance of even having escort available with a chance of others not voting for escort with a 50 % chance of getting wrong side even if escort is chosen and a RNG of win / loss with a possibility of a too low score... That translates into at least seven layers of RNG. That is, simply put, too much RNG into such a simple thing.

that´s damn right, was playing for 6 hours with 3 escorts, all attack. Finally came the server-shutdown for maintenance.
Don´t know if i try again for the mirrored challenge tommorow.
Give me a challenge with difficulties, not with randomness.

Stupid Q: why Marauder leaderboard has practically no reward system? Several recent mech releases had some incentives to play, this has none. Neither participating nor actually placing in LB.

The leaderboard update delay is not 15 min. May be 1 hour and 15 min.

If it's such a problem for the challenge.. then just play the game and put it to the back of your mind. If you're going to play anyway then play and -maybe- you'll receive that random cockpit item that you will forget about 10 minutes after receiving that no one will know you have in that cockpit of that one mech anyway.

It took 10 matches and 2 hours to get the first vote for Escort and then I was on the attaking side, instead of the defending...

Freebies as they are, still, this has been norm lately. Now it seems this stuff will be available on discount for all to get.

LB delay is 1 hour, updates on top of hour. Give or take some.

I checked that with an Internet-Synchronized Clock. It's always at least 5 Minutes Past The Hour when it updates. Attempting to refresh before then can cause unnecessary glitches.

I can never get into escort missions for the prizes played like 20 matches and only saw it as an option once! It was voted down too ㅠㅠ

Can't seem to win on the Escort attack...too many idiots not focusing fire...

...until the VIP decides to march out in the middle of the open on Alpine Peaks. XD

Alright, today is finished...good luck guys. Seems like if you pick heavy mechs, you're more likely to get an attack versus a defense.
