Only from the front, not counting the massive air gaps between the arms and ST's or between the legs.... how ever if you turn it side ways, it's Kate Moss thin....

Does your mech shoot sideways or do you have to face the enemy to fire?

Chickadee is my favorite PXH (and I like the chassis). It's better optimized IMO. No reason not to go asymmetric, 2JJ is plenty and you have way too much back armor, but conceptually the same build. Basically a giant RVN-3L.

I have varying success with this. Not too big a fan of the single PPC and 3 mediums. I prefer a more brawlerish build. Get in close, let ECM mess with targeting while I skirt around with the team and harass up close. But like I said, varying results.

Depends on how good you are with "zoom and boom" tactics as well as with feathering the JJ's....
True enough, but the point still stands; you have to put so much more effort into making a phoenix hawk perform well than you do some of the top tier mechs, some of which are as simple as look, shoot, component destroyed, twist

I'm aware of what happens at higher PSR games, for a while I ran with the old comp team from CGBI, and have tested myself against EMP, LORDS, CSJ, 228, NS and the old MercStar... and I learned that I do not enjoy that level of play, hence why I prefer to stay in the minor leagues and play mechs I find fun, in builds I find fun, when I feel like playing.

It's a flawed chassis, but especially after the recent buffs, much better than its rep.

Oddly I prefer the arm-weapons-only variants. For me the arm armour buffs made a drastic difference and now I keep my arms in most games, and I enjoy the agility of having all weapons in arms.

I don't really like far range builds. It doesn't seem good. I would use hvys or assaults for long range
Also how is it PHX on Scouting missions?
