This is the reason, why I push Alex Garden on giving the Inner Sphere brigade decals. Because even though with some imagination you can make a unit regiment decal, we don't have enough Brigade decals for IS units. Only the Skye Rangers get to have a full brigade decal and with the arrive of the Lyran Guard Decal coming this month, I don't see why not? At least these decals can complement cannon units nicely:

2nd Magistracy Highlanders

Amphigean Light Assault Group
The Amphigean Light Assault groups rely on camouflage schemes that change from planet to planet. When forced to participate in public parades, the adopt their "junkyard camo", painting their vehicles a combination of flat gray highlighted with rust-brown splotches and black scorch marks.

Alliance Jaegers:
Each Jaeger regiment has a signature color that dominates its paint scheme. They have a distinctive white checkered pattern overlaying the left side of the 'Mechs and vehicles.

But all I used was the House Steiner Skin and reversed the color channels.
  • 1st Skye Jaegers- Blue
  • 1st Bolan Jaegers - Green
  • 1st Coventry Jaegers - Yellow
  • 1st Alarion Jaegers - Gray
  • 1st Donegal Jaegers - Light Blue

That picture actually highlights why I am not happy with the "Steiner"-camo of the Bushwacker - which is actually a rendition of the Lyran Guards Brigade parade scheme.
It should be blue with a broad white stripe on the right. The gold is ok, as long as it is used for highlights. But in case of the Bushwacker, the gold is a very dominant colour. Sometimes less is more.

Conversly you can use the Bushwacker Steiner-camo for a lot of paint schemes - it's just a poor Lyran Guards scheme...

The mechporn is all that is left to me.

They killed CW with Phase 3 and can only get us to play through bribery now.

They appear to have given up on even the idea of balance and now just change values monthly to force us to spend cbills to compensate for what they break.

The mechporn is all that's left to me.

Thank mechageezus for this thread and for all who have posted here.

Yeah I also like to spend time for screenshots and such. I'm glad my suggestion for the free camera in Testing Grounds is going live! Can't wait to see how it works, I guess we move around with curors and we can fire like usual and press Print Screen as much as needed?

Until then, I post my Mauler:
