I think because Marauder IIC can hold similar or more weapons comparing with KDK (e.g. Scorch vs SB) in spite of being lighter with 15 tons, it should be nerfed also. Or it is going to be nerfed... after being allowed to purchase with C-bills? :)

Exactly the same firepower. Well.. almost. SB has only 1 ballistic hardpoint.

I think PGI should release well balanced mechs and should consider mech size, max speed, empty space, shape and some other attributes and these things should be balanced. It is not too difficult science.

I don't own them, but they do seem kinda ridic

I'm decently sanguine about power creep in these types of games, but some of the loadouts you can fit on the MAD-IICs still make me wonder what PGI were thinking

Thats all there is to it. Just wait until it either gets released for CB and/or the next new mechpack/Assault comes up for sale.

I don't think MAD-IIs ARE OP. They seem tough, and some pretty top tier players are mastering them right now, but by and large I don't really fear the chassis. I for one happen to like the fact that PGI are releasing good mechs with lots of useful load out options, rather than DOA crap that needs tons of quirks and rescaling just to barely be mediocre.

Not quite but i do have a little hunch that both the MAD IIC and the KDK will get a nerf "balancing adjustment" as soon as the next clan assault preorder hits the salesshelf.
