I wouldn't say so much a son as I would say a clone, combining both Victors and Katherine's DNA. The Clans warriors were all clones to one degree or another remember?

Clone would only use 1 parents DNA... did you miss Sex Ed class & Biology on reproduction? Combining Victor & Katrina DNA make Alaric their Son not clone, the Clans never did cloning. They only did the old fashioned genetic engineering humanity has been doing for ten thousand years that gave us wheat, dogs, cats, cows, horses, corn, & basically every other domesticated plant and animal. Now Alaric is never going to officially admit that Victor is his father, since by how Bloodnames work Vlad Ward is his Mother and Katrina is his father... Bloodname lineage being passed maternally not paternally. He needs to maintain the fiction that he is a Ward for bloodname and to be Khan, he claims to be Katrina son for his claim on the Archon throne.
