i am also getting rekt by mgs in my beautiful and healthy kodiak.

i say PGI remove every mech in game except kodiak as they are all unbalanced and broken except for kodiak.

This has to stop, people! Machine Guns are just too deadly right now! The Arrow IV can facetank any mech and win with its 6 MGs and quirks! Nerf MGs! Nerf the Arrow IV! Nerf the Spider 6V!

The answer is at your fingertips. More rear armor. You make the choice. 100 ton mechs should have 26 points of armor in the rear CT. Your choice since most damage will be coming from the front, but you can't have everything.

I run less than half that and typically have no issues. If they are shooting you in the back, you did something wrong...unless you are a light pilot.

Do you realize what you've done. I was thinkingg about buying an Awesome again in the first time in over a year. And now that I know it runs armor like that, I don't know if I could bare to readjust the armor fully. Damn you.

Honestly, for all the tonnage and slot investment, mgs better be worth something. I think they should be slightly more effective than they currently are, and I think the optimal range should be increased by 10 meters or so.

Now, when the piranha comes out? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we'll see what the dartboard says about MGs..
