Don't know, what's the problem with machine guns. Recently, I found a CDA capping our base. I was piloting my quad-MG-Viper and I could facetank and fire until its front CT-armor was gone. Nice.

Ask yourself would you wear a thong outside and nothing else on, and then jump butt first into a 10 foot pile of fresh snow? If so then it is working as intended. If not then my suggestion is to increase your rear armor.
