It's the first tier that routinely puts you in games that have tier 1 players.

It really threw me - I thought I was doing well, watching all my stats go up, and then I hit tier 3. Boom. Sub-100 damage games, loss after loss. I actually stepped away from the game for a bit, but I've taken my lumps and I seem to be improving again.
