yeah.... sadly, can't really say I'm looking at 2017 with hope... but trepidation, instead.

The loss of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds is tragic.

Their loss shall be felt greatly for some time, while the older Star Wars may not have that special place for since i'm younger than many of you's (early 20's), the entire series got me into the Sci-Fi genre.

Debbie Reynolds, her mother, died the following day of a stroke, after hearing of Carrie's death - she said she missed her and wanted to be with her.

In other words, she died from a broken heart.

Good god terra lost all this year

To me, Muhammad Ali (the greatest fighter outside the ring), David Bowie (rocket man), John Glenn (first American astronaut), Craig Sager (the most professional sideline reporter), and Carrie Fisher (General Organa) have the most impact personally on that list.

I will miss them all.

For me personally, it was Carrie and Gene.

Carrie for obvious reasons...

Gene, well, Willy Wonka of course. Being a middle age male, and it may be a little embarassing, I still love Willy Wonka. I have it on each and everytime it is on TV. It never fails to bring a smile to my face. It never fails to get me to sing along.

Gene has never failed to make me happy.
