Now if you IS scrabs ever complain about losing to clans look at what we have to play against. Don't blaim tech or units blaims this guy.
I got a B - E - A - UTY last night.
So I headed over to Smurfy just to see what it would look like.
AMMO FOR DAYS...
Same player, all his other mechs - All had AC2s... Just AC2s
Maybe we should start a "best FP builds" thread...

Imagine starting a match.. then holding down the fire button and not moving your finger. By the end of the match you would probably still have ammo left!

Yoo brother, I played last night with this god damn guy.
Ofc after i pushed my ddc and mx90 hoping that the team will try to do the same
i got smacked ,, so i decided to see the other builds.
Here comes this fool,,, after i stopped laughing i told him politely
that i have a shadow hawk with the same sh@t on him .
He replayed:
"Yah , but my Cyclop has much much more armor than your Shadow Hawk
... plus i had 850 dmg with this mech .. The Ugly!!!! "
Yeah,, he had 850 dmg , but he failed to realize
that was actually his total damage on 4 mechs .
The only thing i managed to say to the man was " Right On!!"

Strip 2tons ams ammo, 3 tons ac2 ammo, strip the arm armor, ger ferro and mount a fourth ac2 and 3 dhs.
Would play it atleast once, just for da giggle, if i had a sleipnier.
Edit: Nvm it´s a a in the screenshot, the smurfy stuff misguided me.

This is glorious!
I can imagine how he works hard to overheat and shutdown a mech, then runs out to 180meter minimum range to lob a volley, then runs back in again to shut them down again.
Absolutely glorious!

The suggestion, I kid you not....
Mix in some MPLs and LRM5s for good performance without the ghost heat.
Why risk failure from poor choices in a match when you can **** yourself and your team before you even leave the mech bay?

and im not really planning to stay either. it just worked out that a lot of the mechs im currently leveling are clan (i level in fp, deal with it). i was done with all the lights, meds and heavies, then the gyr came out, and i decided to buy a cinder. so i was able to build a deck with those, and the kodiak/gargoyle/highlander iic im working on, using whatever other mechs i had to fill the gap. where as on the is side im currently leveling about 3 assault mechs, and its hard to build a good deck around is assaults, even with the extra tonnage. you are better off running as many heavies as you can over any assault. so im clan for the duration of grinding these mechs. 10 more mechs to buy and i need the money.

I fail to see the problem with this mech. Zero heat issues and a potential for 6300 damage.
Now he just has to get the entire enemy team to disco and he will be all set.
I've seen some bad build, but that's probably the worst.

The tech advantage is small, though for terribads it's a significant gap. If one side needs to aim and the other doesn't and neither side can actually aim it gets more relevant but especially for coordinated teams it's very close.
However, for years the tech advantage has been even more one-sided and as such the units have trickled consistently over to Clans. Conversely when the tech got closer to balanced the bulk of Clan terribads/loretards threw an absolute Jerry Springer crying fit and quit. Which was a *huge* benefit to the Clans as they were all utterly worthless deadweight.
I hate to say this but the best possible thing that could happen to the IS is 70% of the pugs in the IS going back to QP. Go look at the FP leaderboard and go all the way to the right. Look at how many people have 30, 60, 100+ matches with a win/loss of like 0.3 or 0.22. The difference between them and someone who TKs and suicides is literally very minimal. They aggressively resist called drops, direction and teamwork.
Which, in turn, motivates more people to switch away from them. It's been a slow but steady process. The tech difference is at the core of it but at this point the issue has snowballed beyond that.
