Behold it's beauty and nipple cannons, and worship them!!!

Eh pass, 4 hard points (maybe 6...) On an assault mech(really all of the varriants are hard point stsrved)? Warhammer IIC offers more.

Town Halls are traditionally as late in the month as Russ can get away with and still coincide with a Friday. I'd prefer for word on Skilltrees 1.0 to come out two-ish months before the speculated MechCon release date, rather than one month, but I suppose Town Hall is what we get.

Also can we stop calling them Town Halls? The 'Town' is not really even remotely involved anymore. They're pretty much just monthly-ish Russ interviews NGNG runs without any community involvement. It kinda bothers me that they're called 'Town Halls' when the Town gets neither a voice nor a choice.

Typically Mech announcements are early in the month though... to have enough time to support the early adopter period and then the next month's mech announcement, also typically early in the month.

The radar dish would probably make it real bad in MWO though, probably will initially count as CT for the entire thing that will stick up above your mech in one big easy "shoot here to kill robot" block.

They'll eventually partition it into all three torsos, but it will still be a part of your mech sticking up above your cockpit making it harder for you to judge if you're in effective cover or not.

Basically imagine the big gunpod hitboxes on the ebon, but for all three torsos and they don't even give you super high gun mounts, just make you way easier to kill.

I don't think it will. Depends on how flat the dish is from a frontal view. As a matter of fact here's a IRL reference image of a mini that I had custom 3D printed to give you a scale. I see the support pylons of the dish counting more as side torsos than head hit boxes. The center area would be relatively small if they went with the unseen artwork (And PGI don't make my mini look like the actual in game model. Alex make it armored and beefy plz.)

Just what we need. More overweight Clan 2.0 Battlemechs.

You are correct mate.

Sadly, the IIC clan battlemechs, will probably be the best selling mech packs they can release. For obvious reasons, just look at the marauder IIC.

Therefore, they will want to make more of those.

My thing is although my favorite mech is a battlemech...Clans need Omni mechs more and these need to be more flexible (loadout changes would be awesome kind of thing.

But the issue is currently for active Clan Omnimechs (ones that would be on the Frontline of the Innersphere invasion, not many are left. Of.those that are many have glaring issues.

Black Lanner - super over engined 55 ton mech
Turkina - 95 ton Direwolf with "jump jets"
Kingfisher - standard engined
Pouncer - 40 ton hoping Adder
Naga - Can not give Arrow to the knees

The thing with clans is if you are a true born Clansmen you would not even consider a Battlemech or IIC, to be assigned to one means to be insulted or you done F***ed up bad. Or your current situation is pretty dire...Freebirth though, no harm no foul in anything really.

Thus I find it odd IIC are so clamored for, even if decent. Of the IIC's left I feel the ones that should be here this year
-Warhammer IIC
-Rifleman IIC
-Locust IIC
-Griffin IIC (as a MAYBE)

All the othersin my opinion are subpar, lackluster, IS mech 2.0 feel. And could live with out them for several years

Eh. Depends on the Clan. CDS had nothing against Battlemechs, if it isn't obvious already.

Well, Clan Diamond Shark is probably the least... Clanny out of all the Clans.

Turkina
Kingfisher

The Kingfisher could potentially come in on par with the Battlemaster, though slightly slower but probably have ECM. I think this mech has the potential to be a solid performer, but perhaps not the power house that is the KDK-3 or MAD-IIC.

The Turkina is a bit sadder, but you could still do so quality loadouts with it, and it could be granted with more torso twist range to make up for its shortage of firepower compared to the Dire Wolf or mobility compared to the Kodiak.

Both of those mechs could drop in in the middle of the pack, at least. Some would say "Oh if they aren't going to be top performers don't bother" and I get that, but I still think the Kingfisher could add some nice flavor, and the Turkina is the staple CJF assault mech that the game is currently lacking, so from a BT perspective, it would be a good add. It wouldn't even be a BAD mech, it just wouldn't really be anything new. I suppose it could bring 3 Class 1 JJs and dual gauss, dual ER PPC, so there is that!

Considering the fact that most people I know think of Smoke Jaguar or Jade Falcon when the Clans are mentioned, I'll take that as a compliment.

Hey, the Falcons are a noble Clan. The Smoked Jags on the other hand... to hell with them, they crazy.

"Noble." Is that why they tried to WIPE OUT ALL OF CLAN DIAMOND SHARK when a single trade vessel, likely hit by pirates, disappeared and then the equipment it was hauling got spread around the sector? That's insanity, not "noble".

Hmm.. was Marthe in charge at that time?

Edit: I looked it up, Galaxy Commander Mar Helmar called for the Trial of Annihilation on suspicion of CDS selling goods to the Inner Sphere, which was tempered by saKhan Elias Crichell, who demanded evidence from his subordinate, which was unavailable. Therefore, the wisdom of the Falcon came through in defense of Clan Diamond Shark.

I'm not very good at it to be honest, but I can give it a shot. Did you have any ideas or something?

Well, yah. It combines the better tech of the Clans with chassis that are nostalgic for both Clan and Inner Sphere lovers.
