There is a phrase I am looking for here...power advancement? No that's not it, power crawling? Hmm... Something to do with obsoleting my Shadow Hawks...bah. It'll come to me I am sure.

It did over shadow the Shadow Hawk. That being said the Shadow Hawk still has some good things going for it.

Just buy the early adopter pack and if you dislike how it looks after more detail is released on it refund it before you get it. You'd just have to have the money set aside for awhile though, but 20 dollars really isn't all that much in the first place to stake down for the standard pack, upgrade if you like it once details come out, get refund if you don't.

Spending money on a non-existing product is a bad practice. I though the whole pre-order BS was suppose to be something us consumers would stop encouraging by now considering all the things that have been going on in recent gaming history.

You should never be forced (loosely used term) to buy something "now" just cause you might possibly want that thing several months later when it's released just to not miss out on content. It's a bad deal and discourage people from buying after the "expiration date" cause they will not get anything extra for it that a C-Bill purchase even later won't already give you (assuming 20$ pack, minus mechbays ofc but those are really cheap anyway and can be gained for free).

Besides if pre-ordering now have to be a thing with mech packs wouldn't it now just before release be the best time to advertise their pre-orders? It's now people are gonna get hyped again after all so having that list showing all the things you WONT get is kinda... yeeh, not that great.

Man, I gotta quit reading these hype threads. Like others have said, it's ugly in a cool sort of way. Crap, do I need another Medium?

They get burned enough from mass refund right before release and maybe they'll change.

it's going to drop arms faster than Viper and that's pretty bad, so it must have some serious quirks

it will perform similar to the the SHD and KTO, but with more missile bombing probably. But hitboxes may not be in favour of the mech, probably a little bit above Nova size with those ST and CT desgn it got.

but it really looks nice.

New large picture of the Bushwacker (S) hero.

Not a huge fan of the 3 E hardpoints on the left arm, but it doesn't look terrible.
I do however REALLY like the animation of the legs actually bending inward when stepping, looks really natural and i can't wait to see it in motion.

I, personally, like it.
That's how it always was portrayed in the minis.

It's not dangling on that model, it's to the side of the arm. In the MWO version, it is dangling below the arm. I don't mind it being in that awkward box, I mind that awkward box not being where it's supposed to be.

That AC/10 isn't dangling, it's mounted directly on the side of the hand.

I still prefer the MW3 and MW4 versions that simply remove the hand entirely and put the AC/10 in its place.

That is the hero not the (S) variant.

since quirks are going the way of the DoDo, don't think that will matter. And since you can easily mount most firepower in the torso, expendable arms is a bonus.

cuz half a meter matters that much? *shrugs*

looks like it has orange clown lipstick... that whole paintjob, whatever the "good intentions" (to imitate the cartoon toys) is just hideous.

Whole thing is a little too Leg-o-licious for my tastes, but not too bad. Though mine will probably end up named Legged-olas, since that is exactl ywhat will happen if I try to scout with it.

Looks good.

Only thing I truly dislike is how and where the STs are presumably.

Especially the AC placement. I was hoping for a tighter profile fit where they were. Might wait for Cbills. have yet to see it in action. With the new coming Skill Tree, most likely some quirks that it will probably acquire might disappear, and thus open up more possibilities like many other mechs are getting

Brought the standard pack. Might buy the others if they quirk these well. It looks gorgeous. All talk about the shadow hawk I might have to get that one as well to increase my IS collection.

For some strange reason I thought the bushwhacker's arms would look more like the EBJ's arms.
