I'm concerned because every single time I see a "long term plan", it tends to be smallish and nature and fall short of actual expectations.

I mean, we'll keep moving Inverse Kinematics to the end of the year or next year... and other things similar to that.

My only hope is that January's mech will be something halfway decent, not outright bad(Any 35 tonner) or just plain trollish(Piranha).

We used to have monthly roadmaps.

Then we got three-monthly roadmaps, which cumulatively contained less than three separate monthly roadmaps. And even then, many of these features failed to be delivered within the three months.

Please tell me they're not about to get even lazier and devolve into a six-monthly roadmap?

Anyway, that road map better have IS Omnimechs (#SunderOrIRiot), crit splitting (#EquippableLongTomsOrIRiot), tech advancement (#RotaryAutocannonsOrIRiot) and a promise to return to retro battlemechs (#DervishOrIRiot).

Or I'll riot.

so the 4.1 was smallish in nature? granted that russ said the patches previous to the December 13th patch where in fact going to be small. Also, what do you mean everytime? you also need to define "smallish in nature" your post tend to be equivocations, I can probably assume why.

also you need to be specific, its your expectations, unless you presume to speak for everyone(which given past post, you tend to do that)

Well Carl is wrong and anything he post is wrong. My post is right, because I said it. you see how childish this is? yet over and over, you continue to do it. you have been doing it all last year. Yet somehow you can't see how unintelligent you sound.

Now given the foresight of the future roadmaps. They need to go back and rework detail into the maps. Different effects, and so forth. Just focus on that for a few months. Actually now that I think about it, the focus on getting more maps in the game might add some variety to keep the game fresh, if it doesn't start to focus on new tech.

I don't think they will reveal their long term plans for 2017. Russ said he didn't even know what their next big project would be. Solaris is certainly an opportunity. How much demand is there for PVE now that we're getting MW5? Solaris seems like the only obvious next project. What else could it be? Collisions, knockdown and melee? Too many people will be upset at this point, since they're used to the arcade shooter aspect of MWO. What else? New game modes? New maps?

I think they will announce the following:

• New skill tree
  
• Inverse kinematics
  
• Cosmetic overhaul of HPG Manifold and Mining Collective
  
• New mech pack. I predict a double light mech release. 1 for $20, 2 for $30. First Clans, then Inner Sphere. Probably Piranha + Firemoth and then Wasp + Stinger or something like that.
