I like this light support build.

The quirks from the Adder-D variant helps maximize its potential,
you can add art targeting system, switch to medpulseL, or add uac/5 instead of uac/2

Here is my submission for the ADR-A, Its a 2 Large Pulse Laser build. This little mech is a perfect pinpoint damage dealer for ripping apart components or taking out XL engines in Inner Sphere mechs. The C-BAP/ Targeting computer is great for near instant target info acquisition.

Everyone that is running 2lpl/3erll/2erppc and not using the the sidetorsi of the prime is doing it wrong.
The extra -10% heatgeneration is roughly worth 4 dhs.

Keep in mind that the championbuild is mainly for noobs. And yeah 2erppc in the sidetorsi can be better for skilled pilots.

ADR-PRIME

(Edit: ADR-PRIME-2lpl-1erml (alt variant))

Was running a similiar(no ams, head and back armor reduced to 2) cinder at the leaderboardevent (got ranked second).

Some good builds here, but i hope the champion will stay true to the mid-long range fire support role.

May I ask, why is the TC1 even in this design?

The TC1 only will help the MPL in the CT. If you have taken it with the thought that it will increase missile lock on times... I'm sorry to say that it doesn't. It does nothing for LRMs.

If I was to recommend an LRM build here instead, I would have recommended a 2 LRM5 and 2 LRM10 Adder with a CT mounted ERLL. The build can lose an arm and not also lose a large LRM rack. (My preference.) It would be build in the same manner as my SRM builds posted on the top of Page 2, just with LRMs instead of SRMs.

However, besides that one point, it could work. I'd almost rather see the single MPL be replaced with 3 ERSLs or 2 ERMLs. Maybe even 2 ERSLs and a TAG... (Has potential, but I feel the build needs some tweaking still.)

This is my Adder Champion variant. This variant is a very good Light & Medium 'Mech hunter...

This looks like the perfect beginner's clan missile boat. Everyone has the moment where they want to try sitting behind and shoot some missiles just to see how it works. That is the whole point of playing MWO where you can try different things. This mech lets them do it in a safe from teammate abuse way.

2x CLRM 10s
2x CLRM 5s
7.5 tons ammo
CBAP and CTag
Max Armour for all intents and purposes, possible to swap armour for more ammo

Teaches newbies that:
1. If you gonna boat, bring your own BAP and Tag
2. If you gonna boat, bring enough ammo so you don't run out
3. If you gonna Clan boat, bring many small launchers so you actually do damage against AMS
4. If you gonna learn how to boat, do it in a 35 Ton light where you can keep up with the team instead of doing it in a 100-Ton KDK, Atlas or KGC so your 11 team mates don't have a fit and find their 100 Ton assault 5 miles behind getting picked apart by enemy lights
5. Added bonus is this build does have have any lasers and will not give newbies ideas that they have a backup laser and can go around shooting mechs with it. When you are a missile support mech, you stay out of harms way and shoot missiles, not charge into battle with your backup lasers thinking you are actually gonna do some damage

Here's my take on the Adder-A (C) variant.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e05436fd2600fe4

Solid skirmisher with 3 MPLas and 2 SRM6. A bit like my Raven.

But since everyone is interchanging Omnimech parts, did anyone say LRMs yet?

This would be my Adder ADADA (C) variant (I have this parked in my mech garage).
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...080620dbc65461e

P.S. I know this is very close to Chroeth's build, that's indeed a good build. In an IS mech I would agree and opt for LRM10s over LRM5s, as they have more beef. On the Clans, with their constant stream of rockets it's not so clear-cut. I would choose to bring more ammo.

Overall I really like the adder for its small profile.
