Its supposed to look a little clan-esque... They were trying to reduce the forward profile, like many clan mechs do... I can't pull up Sarna right now for some reason but I thought it was based on clan salvage or something... Don't shoot me if I'm wrong...

I like the look of this lil baby, I hadn't actually made a purchase since the Cyclops cause was taking a break from being a whale.. ..then got a bit excited doing 1v1 Stiener, got a bit drunk on the weekend's evening session and my true colours came out.. ..once a whale.. ..always a bit of a whale.

Do like the asymmetrical build though, looks like it has a good profile and happy with hardpoints + getting XL's too! Interested to see how the hitboxes work out. Looks like could have CT issues

You're basically right. The design used schematics from the Mad Dog to make it not constantly leak EM radiation that screwed with the electronics. The schematics they found let them fix the engine shielding and saved it from being scrapped as a failure.

Torso balstic mount is low, missle is high, arms low to medium, looks to play like a,smalll mad dog. Which lore says the chassis was develpoed from.
Looks like the mech you peek around corners rather than poping up from cover. I think can work with this mech.

I could nitpick things like the chunkiness of the torso and the strange shape of the side torso "cheeks", but the biggest issue I see with this is the need to fix the right arm ballistic mount. It's too low from both a Btech lore and gameplay viability perspective. There's no good reason to have it so low slung, when it should really be more in the "thumb" position on that claw hand.
