Front load armor in the extreme and always have cover to back into. Works great. But yes TTK is a touch to low.

Also for newbies, try firing back.

30 days premium time is $12
3 mech bays is about $5
6.5 mill CB = ? $5

so not bad and you get the mechs.

I used poor phrasing--I really like the "look of" the hardpoint layouts :D

However, I can't argue with the art. I have a tendency towards chicken-walker aesthetics, but the longer I look at the art the more I come to like it.

Probably because jump height is subject to in-game mechanic changes/nerfs/buffs?

You notice they also don't put in the "alpha/heat/dps" on the store page, because all that is relative to balance changes too.

Besides, if they put the jump height in, it would scale from "really not much" to "just not much" :P

(FYI, i paid i think 10 or 15 bucks each, for the Mech packs alone.. they had 4 each) worth every penny!

You forgot +3 premium colors! those are 1k MC each, so 15 bucks, or 7.50 at the very least on a 50% off sale..

6xSRM2, XL255, 4JJ, 3 tons ammo, fits nicely. Or drop the JJ and go 4xSRM4, for more burst damage.

6 SRM-2 sounds pretty good, but the JJ won't be needed as much. Take 1 or 2 just to give a bit of mobility over small hills, as well as turning. 4 does serve much purpose for a light otherwise. Then add another ton of ammo and maybe AMS?

Not enough ammo. Drop to 1x JJ, strip the head down to one point, strip the arms to zero points, and you get 500 rounds. Much better.

Your mileage might vary, but I rarely get more than 20 salvos out before I die.

I'm excited for a new light. I bought the base and the hero. Love the colors that come with pre-order. Head looks a little weird as mentioned before, but overall I like it.

I usually run completely dry on my LCT-1M and LCT-3S. Gimme all the ammos.

The JVN-10P can run 6x SRM2 at 148 kph with 500 rounds of ammo and at least 1x JJ. Because all of those SRMs are in the torso. That's not trash-tier, that's extremely competent. It will eat SPL Lights alive and have enough ammo to also attack multiple bigger targets from the front...unlike certain bug-themed 20 tonners.

The JVN-11A can do 5x MPL easily.

i have my doubts about it, i have run around (for fun) in a 6 SRM2 JR7 II, and even with 2 extra DHS that thing runs to hot...

srm 2's have (almost for is srms) the same heat/damage ratio as SPL.. and need ammo on top of that..

if it gets quirks for missile heat it might be ok, but else i think it wont be..

So how fast can this go? Missiles work fine in lights. I have a Commando 3A with 450 rounds, by far my favorite mech. But speed is needed to make it work.
