damn I was looking forward to getting a new light
but
if I'd wanted a light that can't compete much I'd go for my panther
actually come to think of it I'm so close of selling my panthers

Its really nice looking and the torso hard points means no armor has to be on the arms which is a big bonus. However it is not the Sting or Wasp. It will take me a couple days to get over this.

Being thinner makes it easier to protect your torso, hopefully it's not too tall. While not what I was expecting, I did promise I would buy the next light since MWO's lifespan is increasing with the new tech. The ability to harass at mid-range with MRMs is intriguing.

Really doesn't matter if they could go spider's speed. The mech does nothing new that my huggin,oxide,rvn 3l or jenner 2cs can do plus they have back up weapons. I'll c-bill it for sure to give it a try but no way will I put down real money for it. All those threads for new is lights or ideas and we get this junker instead of some thing that could have added a new mechanic or play style like the wasp/stingers.

We could have gotten the Raptor. That'd be great since we're now in 3060 era. But noooo we get this junker. Now i like my lights but even i have to say no to this for now.

if the page didn't tell me what it was I'm not sure I'd've recognized it. Where's the beer belly full of SRMs and the TrebuHead?

Oh well. I already wasn't going to get invested in a(nother) Sphere light, though it's nice that they dropped the price a bit for this one and the Hero makes me lulz a bit. Still, I already have an Oxide and also a Jenner IIC and an on-sale Hugginz. Not really sure where this is going to find a job, especially since I don't run Sphere side too much anymore.

Still, at least all the Classic 'Mech folks got one more treat before the summer's FutureTech announcements. I have no doubt they'll get more later on, just like I have no doubt they'll scream in rage every time we get a FutureMech instead of something from the 3025 book.

I think I'll actually preorder this because of the colors. Couldn't care less about the mech, but the price is reasonable.

Looking at hardpoints. Oh it's a missile platform. Okay this might actually be a better buy than Oxide (if you don't have the Oxide like me), making this preorder a great value, at first I thought it's gonna be another energy boat. This looks good tho. Even the hero is interesting.

Art looks good. Not a big fan of the head, but that might be just the perspective.

The packs are 5 bucks cheaper as well. 15 bucks instead of the standard 20 (Urbanmech is still 20 bucks). So that's something, i guess?

Well, at least it will be Spider speed with Spider Jumping capabilities but far more firepower. That head though, why does it remind me of those stupid old english safari helmets. I'd even go so far as to say it kinda reminds me of a malnourished Dark Helmet with his visor up.

The art is cool, but totally killed any chance for proper sizing. There is not a chance for a person to be inside that thing and still be less than 10 meters tall.

Quite frankly, a rare misstep by Alex. I thought everything else he has done so far at least conform to that idea of a reasonable size for in-game implementation. I mean, it looks like it should be taller than the Roughneck. Which, as we know, it won't. So... yea...

$25 bucks for the std + reinforcements seems pretty solid to me.. the hero doesn't look that enticing to me.

Not really interested in an ECM light without JJs, but the other reinforcement mech has 7E hardpoints, so i'll shell out the extra $10 bucks for them.
