Is there a way to see ones event progress?

When the event starts, that page will track your progress. It will update about every hour, either on the hour or a few minutes later.

The event hasn't started yet.

Wait, it has.

Anyway, like I said, it updates on the hour. It's not immediate. First update hasn't dropped yet.
