It's funny because all Vindis actually have an additional missile hardpoint already modeled and ready to go. It's just flipped off like a switch, because PGI is apparently afraid of a 45-ton mech with 7 hardpoints.

Russ literally said that they were all going to have one more, but "Internal testing felt like it was OP".

I repeat: Mist Lynx. Who was saying "**** yeah, I want me some of that"?

Actually, it was the only one of the original 4 Light Omnis I wanted.

Of course, no wne expected PGI to put Barn Door Arm Hitboxes on the thing, what with all it's guns being IN the bloody arms.

Silly us.

What's the use of a package grab deal if 25% of the package is crap? That can't be THAT much more economical than going a la carte.

Internal testing, my foot actuator.

Actually, the usual percentage of crap to useful mechs per jumbo pack has always been closer to 50% hence why I have always strongly opposed them as Bad Deals, no matter the Dollar to Mech "savings" some people feel the Jumbos give. At least with Mech of the Month, if I feel a robot will be bad... I can just skip it.

The Urbanmech is iconic. The Flea is not. The only thing the Flea is famous for is that Alex Iglesias made MWO concept art for it. If Alex never did that, literally no one would ever ask for the Flea.

Actually, a lot of MW4 types had been yammering for it.... and Alex just made it worse with his MW4 themed Concept Art.

People brought the Urban mech for Blakes sake! If that can get brought into the game then why can't the Flea?

Damn straight they bought the Urbie. Because the Urbie is not only iconic, but AWESOME, something the Flea can make claims to neither of. Don't make me saddle up the Deputy Dawg and do to you what I did to Pariah.

Urbie Power, *******.

Well, let's take a look.

Each weight class tier of the old model was $20 per tier for Battlemechs and $30 per tier for Omnimechs. For a la carte, the price per tier was based on how many mechs you got.

One chassis = $35 for BM / $55 for OM

Two chassis = $60 for BM / $100 for OM

The a la carte prices were horrible, to the point that I think they could be considered a war crime.

Probably because the MW4 version (and Alex's version by extension) is a lot better than the original TRO version.

Sure, if a generic wannabe Raptor is better. Personally I think the MW4 version looks like shite

The TRO version is probably closer to the Raptor because it's even boxier.

I would welcome the Flea with open arms just for the fact that it would be a second 20 ton mech. But I'd rather see the Stinger or Wasp (or both) over the Flea.

Also I'd play the Raptor to death if they add it. It's one of the few IS mechs I really want to see in this game.

Arguably one of the worst mech chassis in the game (at least for all mediums) doesn't need a buff?

Sounds perfectly like PGI logic.

Also, if it doesn't look liek a REAL Flea, and not that Derptastic Raptor Wannabe from MW4? No interest.

real flea or no flea at all.

I would agree but a solid 90% of players here are the types who only ever played Mechwarrior 4 - probably for free, and then in the ten year span between it and MWO put absolutely zero effort into looking into the Battletech universe.

Even now? The occasional trips to sarna to find a mech with high hardpoints to ignore the lore behind and beg PGI to put into the game.

I call them tourists for a reason. They're not with Battletech for the long haul. When this game goes, so do they.

no denying the truth there. Just get tired of seeing the tourists catered to at the expense of the core... who are the ones who actually pay the bloody bills.

a slow walking egg, at that.

We already have the only slow walking egg we'll ever need.

gonna run out of "meta" mechs sooner or later. Scatter some lesser chassis in here and there, the game stays interesting a little longer. Plus PGI is feeding three mouths, and it's pretty bloody vital for Battletech and MW5 to have Stingers, Wasps, etc.

take that over the Flea, any day, and twice on Sunday.

UNLESS, they actually made the Flea look like it's supposed to. Then? I'd take the Flea. MW4 Raptor Jr? Not interested.

Erm, what? The Stinger and the Wasp are both walking roadsigns. Very large and easy to shoot, just like the Commando. The Hornet would be about as small as the Locust, but jump capable, albeit a little slower.
