Why not? Each and everyone of those assaults would be a good choice from a lore point of view - probably because none of them is a MW:4-original. They all have a meaningful part in the FCCW (even if the Sunder's importance is a little lower than that of the other three). As far as their viability in MWO is concerned they all might turn out alright; at least none of them screams 'deathtrap'.
The Argus might be ok, too; I'd give the -6F a try for sure.
The Chimera... no, that's just bad. Hitboxes, hardpoints, variants are all bad. As a dedicated medium driver I struggle to see any positives. The lore is fairly interesting, though.

Curiously people sometimes underestimate PGI. Often - not always, but often - they design the MWO-role of a Mech closely to it's TT-counterpart. Despite their objective weaknesses and limitations, Phoenix Hawk and Uziel e.g. work best in their intended TT-roles as fast mobile strikers. You have to adapt them to MWO-realities, of course, but I often see people with too slow and immobile, overgunned Phoenix Hawks and Uziels. Those people are obviously better served with Black Jacks and Crabs e.g.
The problem is that people often try to use one and the same template for every Mech instead of trying to figure out it's unique strengths. Don't get me wrong, the Uziel is still horrible either way, but it does have a few strengths and I rarely see people play to them.
