I can agree with that. But just saying people all freaking out ect. Honestly Vulcan is fine to MWO but should have been part of a preorder bonus for MW5. I would love to see a 4 pack associated with MW5 ect. Or choose your pack with the game ect.

What so about the Mercury, they seem pretty fine mechs to add.
And we don't when they gonna add IS omni's I mean we can keep bothering them on twitter about but, I'm keeping my expections to a realistic standpoint when releasing mechs.

At this point I think PGI is aware that the MW4 nostalgia train has, for the time being, run it's course(Especially with the embarrassing failures of most of the line-up). That, coupled with HBS's game, has sent them back to the 3025-3050 period(Many of the designs used in 3025 were upgraded during the 3050s) to play catch-up on mechs from that period.

It's not that. The Lore crowd would have a fit if the Mercury II was released, and not in a good way. Mercury II, alongside the Stag(which I would love to see in game) and the Pulveriser were Not-Named clan mechs, and their release would ruffle many feathers.

Haha let them have a fit, even as a Wolf fan I really do like Clan Wolverine's mechs, my gosh I love the design of the Stag seeing it's father mech was announce make it perfect to announce it son later.

While IS Omni mechs should definately get introduced, the XL issues need to be addressed first. However, these mech don't offer anything substantially different to what we have already.
I personally would go nuts over being able to pilot Elementals as they would change the game experience for both the pilot and the opponents.
However, a quad mech such as the Scorpion would also provide a very different game experience and would do more for the game than another biped or chicken walker.
At the moment, the game is not breaking into new ground and it needs to.
So Gas Guzzler, for the sake of polling the community could I request to get the Elemental added as a Clan light option and the Scorpion in the IS mediums?

We have yet to experience twelve IS Medium lasers, which will be quite formidable.

Make it 15 and see what happens.
Ok, so there isn't an IS mech that can get over 9 laser hard points at the moment.
But is that actually going to change the player experience?

possibly... except people are:
1) spending money on HBS Battletech and
2) It's a mech not even in that game, so the connection is tenuous.
Will there be some boost? Yes. Enough to be worth taking away from their own potential MW5 sales? Dubious. Especially since it's neither a world beater design, nor hugely requested. Had they made a specific design to be released with Battletech and THEN announced it now? Yeah that would have had some sizzle factor. This? Not so much.

Let's add the Raptor, Men Shen, and Blackhawk-KU and find out, shall we?
You thought a 12x cERSL Nova was decent, just wait until you can do the same thing from 50% further away.
