Playing around with megamek anything you can really do on the annihilator you can do on the Fafnir and better due to that engine cap and almost every version has ECM. That really makes me want it, a giant Cicada 3M, oh yes please.

Also, yes, Nightstar and Dragon Fire (and please let the champion be in the pipe!) would be amazing to have in MWO. Some sweet designs, because IS needs more nonhumanoid mechs, it really does.

As far as gameplay goes, I am not sure if it would be great, although you could do silly/funny stuff with them like 4x MRM30.

The main appeal of the Fafnir, beside the fact that it actually had a big role in the FCCW, comes from the FNR-5B and -6U. The latter is effectively a better King Crab (pains me to say it, as I like the KGC), while the other is just a well rounded assault with good geometry and hardpoints.

Hollander or Dervish
Crusader or Avatar
Arctic Wolf
Rifleman IIC

That last one seems pretty underwhelming compared to the others but some must have a different opinion. I'm just not sure if PGI will consider the Hollander a worthy add. Its just a Ballistic torso, or a ballistic torso and arm weapons, but who knows I guess. It seems to be the people's second favorite light. I think I would rather have the Wasp tbh.

Seems like you are suggesting monthly mech packs for PGI based on the popularity of the poll. That's fine, but this reiterates the favoritism towards MW:4 mechs flooding into the game. If you are going to make suggestions then something of a mix of old + new might be more ideal for less salt for everyone. I would rather see:

I wasn't making a personal suggestion, I was making a realistic guess at what PGI could do adhering to these poll results, with faction classes switching back and forth (not getting the same classes in each faction every time). Now I did make a personal evaluation regarding the Hollander, but that's it. What they COULD do is mix up some of the big time winners a little bit to make that third pack a little more interesting, as the first couple are pretty glorious.

Also, you sound real unbiased with the Rifleman IIC in the first pack on your list lol

Tell you what, if they swapped the Black Lanner for the Arctic Wolf? That would be a 4 pack I would sell my neighbors kidney for.

As is, it still would be pretty good, though I would probably just buy the Nova Cat and Osiris. Second one is total snooze (to me) but that third pack? All but the Hollander would interest me, and if it were Dervish, Crusader, Arctic Wolf and Rifleman IIC? That would be a must have pack also.

Of course, for a real top grossing pack, I think it should be:
Osiris, Crossbow Battlemech, Crossbow Omnimech and Arctic Wolf. (Though I would entertain replacing the Crossbow Battlemech with a Chimera or Vulcan!)
