So Omnimech Hellion vs Battlemech Packhunter.
They are surprisingly similar in some regards. Same speed, engine size,at least one variant from each runs MASC to get up to 151. I only real issue I see with the Packhunter, is that due to being a Bmech it is extremely limited in hardpoint across the chassis' other than the PH-2 which has 8 energy points. The PH-3 sees those energy points halved to 4, and the PH-4 sees those hardpoints drop back to 1 just as the PH-1. Granted a hero would go a small way to alleviate that but the chassis is very limited in hardpoints and variability, alas. I do like the aesthetics and that one high mount seen in the TRO tho.

What's our guess for the upcoming clan medium announcement? I guess it'll be the Black Lanner. We've only got one 55t Clan mech at the moment, and the Black Lanner seems quite popular.

but why when the Vapor Eagle is better in every single regard. Also, a whopping 11 votes for BL vs VE's 8. mislead much?

Beats me, and while I agree with you, the majority of voters does not. In my poll the sample size is still too small, but in Gaz's poll the Lanner has four times the votes of the Vapor Eagle.

Well, people vote a lot of different ways, but when money was put on the table (A contest, whoever predicts the medium gets entered into a raffle for a free mech), people chose the Black Lanner by an outrageous margin.

It's like there's this group of 5 people (sarcasm yo) that has this hardcore agenda to get a ****** mech in game OR are a particular group that saw it in MW:LL and so, therefore, it needed to be in MWO (prolly part of the same group TBH)

Kinda wish the Rabid Coyote was on this list, as it is in the contest list.

I'll vote for the Conjurer if it retains its design from MW4: Mercenaries under its Inner Sphere name, the Hellhound. Otherwise Black Lanner is my best bet for Clan Medium right now.

I bolded the mechs I find likely for one reason or another.

Sunder isn't a class winner, but is in an omni and I think we should be getting some of those soon. If PGI was smart they would do that and then go back to the Fafnir in the IS assault queue.

Not sure I see the Crusader coming... Avatar is a heavy omni so might make just on that fact.

Men Shen is an omni and a class winner, so I bet its likely, Chimera has dat MW4 nostalgia.

And lights... yeah I'm not sure I see that happening.

Clans I feel the class winners are all pretty likely.

My guess is the day we get 1 IS omni it will be either in a pack (though recent quality issues maybe only a 2 pack....) or followed on by several IS Omni's to fill the field a bit of them. Sunder, Blackhawk KU, Raptor, all sorts of interesting options (as well as scary bad ones if not done right aka if they make the Owens they better say it's quirks in the preorder bad....) idk I am just excited actually for a few (Templar !?!)

We should stop beating around the bush and embrace the Fafnir when it comes to Boomassault.

Otherwise, the Sunder would be the best omni assault to add. Templar would be garbage with low mounted hip level arms.
