And that I am sad that the actual Dathstrike will never look like that, because it lacks the missile-pods.
Sooo... anyone else kinda sad about this?
(Yes, I know: missile = hitboxes, you want to get rid of them, so I should be glad. If this is the only thing you want to say about this, then be aware that this post is not addressed to you.)
Any chance we can convince PGI to let us get this paintjob for the other Madcat MKII's as well (provided you bought the Hero, of cause)?
Can anyone (who cares about this issue) with Twitter poke Russ or Alex?

Me too...
Mine runs Gauss and 2 ERPPC and this thing can do better then that so i think it gonna be a EBJ and TBR had a baby then gave it HGH and some steroid and made it into a big boy!
But yes, the drawing is never a representation of all the mechs, usually just the first variant alex draws for concept.

Nope.
Unlike Timby, Mad Cat Mk.II is a battlemech so no omnipods.
Let's be honest people will play without those "Cat Ears" unless you not into meta, playing stock or just play aesthetically.

Ya it's hard to tell on pgi store page. What I look for is if there is a "max engine" stat it's a battle mech.

In fact this will be the decision to buy it if it does not have its ears because it will take away 20% of its signature.

Shield arms basically cover the side of the mech. 90 tonners have a lot of armor in there too. I might end up getting one

I find it quite odd that it has 3/4 JJ's(probably not removable), most likely as useful as on Supernova or Executioner, just stealing pod space. Also it seems it has around 500 points of armor total, that is comparable with Gargoyle.

Stock armor does not equal actual max armor. For example, MCII-4 has 556 points of armor. The chassis will have 558 max armor without quirks, like all the other 90 tonners. Also, since it is a battlemech, those JJs are removable.

Hero still has omnipods, thus you could swap the STs for missiles.
