I did understand what he was trying to say. You could work on your reading comprehension. English is a shared language on this board and many people don't speak it as their mother tongue. Including myself. Instead of picking fun on that or trying to dismiss comments on account of lacking grammar how about *you* making meaningful contributions instead?

I doubt you speak a second language remotely as good as I speak, write and read english btw.

And why should he repeat his quest as an idiom? Please look the word up in a dictionary before using it next time.

http://dictionary.ca...y/english/idiom

Actually, I am fluent in ASL, and speak conversational Spanish. So, go stroke your superiority complex elsewhere.

As for Idiom, I suggest you look at the second definition of your own post:
the style of expression in writing, speech, or music that is typical of a particular period, person, or group:"

now, his expression:
" To that point why not just make the Hunch IIC hero a paper clip and see how they make that **** work."
If it's not being used in such a manner, than it's any more meaningless phrase, as it's one as a native English speaker I have never remotely heard used.

Also, for the record, Idioms are seldom understood when translated into other languages as the nuances and context are missing, so actualyl I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, wondering if perhaps it was a phrase that made sense in another language. But you, being a pretentious, self important ****, of course, assumed offense.

But hey, being such an edgelord as "Blood Drunken", I guess, trying to flex your peen is important, apparently.

So I'm sure you'll have a delightfully self aggrandizing reply to this.
Cheers.

Oh wow, you sure can't cope with critique, don't you. You're just baselessly insulting me and trying to talk yourself out of the fact that you attacked someone at random just because he doesn't speak the language as fluently as you.

As for the second definition you would have to say "in an idiom" similar to "in a dialect" in contrast to "as an idiom" which we refer to as a "figure of speech". Good try, though. If you want to appear intelligent you might want to check your *grammar*.

It's right there in the dictionary entry I linked: "Both operas are very much in the modern idiom."

Try coming off your high horse before you call out others for having a "superiority complex".

Sticks nose in other peoples business, ****posts, gets called on ****posting, then plays victim card...and grammar {Godwin's Law} to cover the fact he still was wrong in the actual application of the term. Congrats, you used better grammar than I did, and yet still got the essential point dead wrong, while trying to come off like you have a big ****.

Cheers.

That's what you did when you replied to the post I was refering to all the time. You stuck your nose in someone else business. Yeah? What's his in comment to you? What do you care if it's not in proper english? Not your business and now you're calling me out for sticking my nose in yours?

You're ridiculous. Geez. I'm done with you.

And cut the insults.

also.... hmmmmm...

Next time you want to try to sidestep your @zzhattery by playing the "look at my grammar" card? You should really look to your own posts, and make sure they are consistently up to par.

For Example:

"I did understand what he was trying to say. You could work on your reading comprehension. English is a shared language on this board and many people don't speak it as their mother tongue. Including myself. Instead of picking fun on that or trying to dismiss comments on account of lacking grammar how about *you* making meaningful contributions instead?

I doubt you speak a second language remotely as good as I speak, write and read english btw."

I did understand understood what he was trying to say.

You could work on yourreading comprehension. English is a shared language on this board and many people don't speak it as their mother tongue. Including myself. (so much wrong here)"

"You should work on your own reading comprehension. English is a shared language on this board. Many people don't speak it as their mother tongue, including myself. (really, work on those run on sentences, and grouping thoughts by subject)

Instead of picking making fun on of that,(comma is important) or trying to dismiss comments on account of lacking grammar, (another comma..also, probaly better off with "on account of your lack of grammar") how about *you* you (italics make the point better) try making meaningful contributions, (again, comma) instead?

I doubt you speak a second language remotely as good as I speak, write and read english btw. (Again, so much to correct)

I doubt that you speak (though honestly this would be about reading and writing, since we are not communicating orally) a second language remotely as well as I speak English, BTW. (English, like any language, should be upper case. While text talk is not exactly included in the basic rules of English as yet, such phrases are still typed in all upper case)

Also, it helps if the facts are on your side? Meaningful Contribution? Oh, you mean like the dozen on topic posts I made in this thread, besides the one you decided to get your knickers in a twist over? Huh. Go figure.

So, Edgelord...any other way you care to be hoisted upon your own petard this eve, or will you demonstrate a modicum of sense, and maybe, just maybe, try to contribute a meaningful post of your own, instead of looking for ways to take offense and get butthurt...whilst looking the fool in the process?

Wait... you cry about your "superior grammar" and start a post.. (again a ridiculous shitpost, sticking your nose into a conversation you were no part of...again, bravo for that, Lancelot.) and you start with: "That's what you did when you replied to the post I was refering to all the time" (misspelling, and well, atrocious grammar, yours)

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

oh damn. You're the gift that keeps on giving, aren't you, Edgelord? I'm reasonably sure that Clownwarlord is a big boy, and can fight his own battles, if he perceives the need. You, on the other hand? You have a long ways to go before you're ready to be anyone's knight in shining armor.
