As teams, especially on FW, have varying levels of experience on game. Newer players not getting advice can lead to more heated arguments, this leading pressing report buttons. Problems is, reporters behavior can be just as bad or worse. Does bad reporter get punished? Who knows, because PGI does not tell.
Curling or hockey, that is the question.

Curling while popular in Canada is actually Scottish. Hockey is our thing but not officially our National sport...

You're going out of your way to demonstrate how a harmless comment could be taken as inappropriate out of context. Maybe it could be misconstrued, but not for long.
Unless I say it and get blocked and reported before the intent gets cleared up. This kind of thing happens, and some people just want to be offended.

Or I could just say it innocently without any intention of trolling because I don't typically police my own speech like I'm living in a police state.

It is _always_ appropriate to make jokes about Swedes. Danes too.
As an American who lived in Denmark and Norway for 5 years, they are awesome countries; filled with absolutely gorgeous ladies. Talk about a paradise for a young man. You gents who live there should count yourselves very, very lucky. Good places filled with good peeps.

Anyways, since this thread is political in nature, it probably shouldn't be on these forums.

That's the beauty of string theory--mathematically it is pretty sound as a contender for the "theory of everything." Unfortunately, though, it can't be proven through observation, not in any way we know how.
I like string theory. I think it is pretty cool.

Just admit you're a hateful ignorant person if you wish to be so honest. You don't care. You're the same ilk as any person who'll sling nastiness, you just think you're better. You're not an ally, you're not someone who understands... you're likely as entitled as the others and it shows by you being a hypocrite.

As far as I am concerned, the popularity of string theory is the result of the "monkey see, monkey do" herd mentality infecting current-day theoretical physicists.

Well, I can see why string theory is a thing. Once you start understanding things like quantum mechanics and general relativity, and the benefits and limitations of both, it becomes clear there is a gap and scientifically speaking, it is illogical that two theories that hold up and work quite well in practical application are incompatible with one another and incapable of explaining each other. /breathes after long sentence.
Thus we have string theory. And multiverses. And brane theory, and flat universes, and holographic principles and the lingering questions of: What if this is all a dream? Perhaps it is all in my mind? Do I even have a mind? If I don't have a mind... then what am I? Holy crap... am I just living inside a golf ball on someone's front lawn, and the last time he whacked it was when the big bang exploded?

I honestly hope PGI bans these players from the game. It is, after all, 2017. Still thinking its acceptable or funny to call someone ''f*****' or to use 'gay' as a suitable synonym for 'inadequate' or 'disappointing' is ridiculous. We need to evolve past this kind of ''I was just making a joke so its okay to say these things'' mentality. People who insist on using these terms are (at minimum) 20 years behind the times.
On a more positive note, 5 incidents in the 13 months I've been playing isn't that bad. Thank you to the 99.99% of you who keep this game clean and classy. I'm grateful our community is mature enough to make these kinds of immature behaviors a rarity.
Thanks for reading! I look forward to playing with any and all respectful players, regardless of age, self-identified gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, culture, etc.

Oh dear god, please no. I'd much rather have PGI ban you and leave the people who type a few mean words in chat left alone. You can turn chat off. Please ban the OP. We can say whatever we want over chat.

Hey now. Get it right. It was indoctrinated into us at an early age during our hockey training sibkos. Where we learned to ride moose (meese?) to fight off global warming from melting our National Igloo.

Your choices are.
Record it if possible, I know not everyone streams, or take a snap shot of around the time it happened, not the time the mode of game and what map, and manually e-mail it to P.G.I support ( in game report only gets investigated if enough black marks go up against a player)
Ignore it
Block the idiot
Turn off Viop ( I don't recommend this )
