I still think modes like Escort, Domination and Conquest shouldn't become available until you hit T3 at the very minimum.

Let's face it, any mode that requires the new guys to do anything but find a place to stand still and fill the air with skill rockets is far too complicated.

LOL! Half? You are a very generous soul indeed. :) Worse thing ever to happen to MWO? The "Potatoes" decided to show up and ruin if for all the T1/2 elite playa's... Damn shame that really, but fear not.

When MW5 SP arrives, that is where all those "Potatoes" will go and leave all those "Potatoe" hating elites the MWO battlefields all to themselves. And we know, well in advance, that those "elites" will be very appreciative as well, given how serious their hatred towards said "Potatoes" truly is. LOL! ;)

That would be fine, except for the fact that upper tier players do the same thing if not worse.

I don't know about you, but much of my beef is not with the potatoes. They weren't around (or noticeable) during closed beta.

Wonder if that has to do with PGI's complete inability to separate people based on experience and skill.

Remember the old ELO/MM thing and how they started everyone out in the middle somewhere? It's almost like that. I'm willing to bet you can hit T1 in trial mechs.

PGI cannot separate the population if there isn't much of it.

And since you mentioned Elo, I miss that thing. It seemed better than this new PSR. But then again the population was probably bigger during that time too.

Why are we still complaining about PSR? Even as easy as it is to get to T1, there isn't enough T1 players to fill out their own queue, which is why T1s still frequently show up in games with T5s. And then you have group queue which throws the tier system out the window. Anyone can group with anyone. The player base isn't big enough for any match making system to be relevant. I've queued up 3 times in a row and saw 10 of the 24 players in all 3 games.
