The thought process varies.

Some have argued many of these players exhibit Dunning Kruger effect, https://en.wikipedia...93Kruger_effect, while I have personally seem some good players that tend to be toxic because they have very good skills in all areas of gaming (map awareness ,mechanics... etc..) and they see everything playing out on the battlefield and other players can't see what they see nor respond as fast, thus they get frustrated very quickly.

This may be a bit of an abstract comparison for most people, but I always find it similar to some scientist who has studied physics or mathematics deeply for decades, and then tries to teach it to someone brand new. The veteran will see the "deeper" truths in all the theory he teaches and may even visually see "atoms" as making people up instead of actually seeing "people" because he has been "red pilled" on this topic for so long.

Needless to say, there really isn't any excuse for attacking teammates and it makes people play worse most of the time, so we should all , as humans, despite our skill level, learn to control ourselves and behave properly in game.

I've heard it said that the very smart person is the one who intuitively understands "deep things" and the interactions. A Genius, is the person who can explain those deep things and interactions so that the common person can understand.

One version of the concept is this quote: “Genius is the ability to reduce the complicated to the simple.” C. W. Ceran

another

"If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself." – Albert Einstein

Suffice it to say, enough of those "really good players" IMO, don't really "see things on the atomic level" as much as they would like others to think. (Some certainly do, but a goodly number are simply good twitch players who are really good at aping the true movers and shakers, who are a hell of a lot rarer)

I had heard rumours that you were a handsome man but that portrait confirms it.

It's 12 random people VS 12 random people. It's hardly a Team (a group of people who practice together under a coach with a game plan).

-Sometimes with good Communication, you Win
-Sometimes with good Communication, you Lose
-Sometimes without Communication, you Win
-Sometimes without Communication, you Lose

The people that get pissed off that the "team" with worthless, should seek help.

For what its worth, I have often noticed a distinct playstyle variation between Europeans and Americans, I have seen this in many different online games. It is probably a culture thing.

I love my American brothers n sisters but you dont see any other nation mindlessly chanting the initials of their nation do you. Posted Image

Note I said north america, I'm from canada, and since you couldn't tell it is because I wasn't mindlessly chanting canada and secondly yes I see people from every country go nuts when their country wins in some competition.

The euro/world cup of soccer comes to mind, euro's go mental during this time every 2 years. Posted Image

Interesting comment. I don't mean this as a criticism but if you are "fighting as hard as you can" and then look up to see such a lopsided score then you haven't been keeping an eye on the HUD and where your team mates are. If you go off and fight someone 1:1 and fight as hard as you can while your team gets blown away ... part of the fault lies with all of the team for not sticking together and focusing fire.

Most folks who wander off on there own often die first or last (depends on whether they prefer brawling or sniping) but can often contribute to their team losing simply by NOT contributing to the efficient elimination of opponents. 1:1 fights aren't efficient ... they waste ammo/heat/resources and you take more damage than you should since the opponent is given more time than needed to fire back.

You can hardly see a bigger pile of bull ... Well excuse me, but if my team decides to camp in a worst possible spot on the map I'm not going to "stick together" with em. "Sticking together" as in being close to each other is in fact counter-productive as it obstructs movement and firing lines. A large group of mechs huddled together in a small area is an easy target for a spread out crescent shaped firing line of enemy mechs, nothing more. Being able to not only focus fire on a selected mech, but do that from multiple angles at the same time, is what wins games fast and efficient.

Sometimes it's a very simple reason:

The team is actually useless, this is only legitimate when they do something truly dumb though, like 6 mechs dying in the first 2 mins of a match.

Every massive online arena game has this problem. Its not going to disappear. If this is a threat to your blood pressure and the general health of your cardio, its better to avoid this and the entire genre of these games (World of Tanks, League of Legends, etc,.)
