How Much Will The Civil War 'mechs Be Quirked?

I want the Mad Cat Mk. II to get god level JJ quirks since they won't be using those JJs as intended anyway (and only 3 of trash tier JJs except the MCII-4 variant which gets 4, probably because of its variant number).

Annihilator should get some agility/durability quirks honestly.
Uziel should get some quirks on par with other IS 50 tonners but chances are it won't.
Not expecting much of anything on the Mad Cat Mk. II. Maybe some side torso structure or something to make up for the ears on the variants with missiles, or something very minor like that, there are definitely a couple variants that are actually pretty meh, so I wouldn't mind seeing them get some minor quirks. But anything that can run dual ER PPC dual Gauss shouldn't get quirks that help that loadout.

Not at all.
We'll have new tech, a new skill tree, and six months of 'balancing data collection' ahead of us.
Probably

I'm a little worried they will remove most of the IS quirks thinking the new tech will fix everything. Because it won't, and is still blatantly inferior in a lot of cases.

How "should" they be quirked? I have no idea. If I were dev for a day I would give them lore appropriate quirks and/or quirks that offset their weaknesses. But that's just me. The former concept it totally ignored by PGI so no point even considering it, and the later takes them time to institute...in some cases years (see Victor).

We've already been there before, several times. Why do people think this time would be different?

Where do you got this from? TRO:3067 does not support it, merely mentioning good sustained damage output thanks to dual gauss and LRM (which makes sense on TT).

Mad cat mk II does not need quirks, nor should it get any. It's a clan battlemech with a max engine of 400 and jumpjets on every variant-- that's enough of a buff as is.
Cougar should compare to the adder in terms of quirks, but have slight negative quirks on the ECM head that is negated by the set of 8 for the variant it comes from.

Something tells me that if the two Clan mechs aren't quirked into Ubermench territory then we'll see some serious whine threads.
