What if Mech Con travel around the World?
So every had the chance to came to Mech Con when it is in the near!
If it is everytime in Vancouver only the Americans or that one with Money had the chance to come!
Every Year an other Location/Continent!

That type of event is a lot more costly to run. Flying staff around, paying accommodations, shipping out hardware and other goods, work visas... it all adds up fast.

I agree that it would add up to a higher cost. But consider the increased revenue when 10x the mechwarriors show up.

Denver would be a good test model for a viable location in the states.

I believe that the event could be HUGE if held in the right location(s)

Well anyway that is what I think.

I don't think you'd get 6,000 people attending MechCon in Denver, Colorado. Just saying.

Read and then skipped the survey.

Nothing asked about organization of good, fun, enjoyable and community orientated tournament organization which this thingy should be more about than merchandise.

They'd probably get more people turn up in Munich Germany than denver colarado. Im in Australia, not point in bringing anything here, were the last bastion of balanced population on the planet.

Not remotely interested.

PGI hasn't announced anything worth being excited about (yes, even MW5 because I don't trust PGI to delivery anything other than mech packs) in years. A con light on substance is not one worth supporting. Also, my god, the e-sport team was a bore to watch. MWO is still fun to play but the current meta gameplay style makes it an AWFUL spectator sport.

The lack of fundamentals such as role warfare, economy and non-90s shooter mechanic ensures MWO will never rise above a B-grade shooter.

thanks for posting that you are not interested. The survey is for people who are interested and who went and are going to go again.

and If I was PGI i wouldn't really care as you are arbitrary just picking things that excite you. I would just focus on making improvements across the board.

Would really like to see a MechCon type event here in the UK (but not in London or Birmingham - go for somewhere more central to the British Isles as a whole).

I guarantee you'd see more than 6000 attending if you held an event here - heck we have tabletop wargames conventions here (toy soldiers type events) that attract 12000+

Even if you only came over once every 2 - 3 years, it would massively increase your player base on this side of the Atlantic.
