This thread is for players looking to get into Competitive league play, your post reads more like someone wanting to group up for faction play. You should check out the faction subforum instead.

If I am wrong, and you are indeed looking for a comp play, unless you will drop the IS only self limit, I doubt there will be many comp team (of any skill level) that would be interested in you, due to the fact that competitive play is dominated by ~90% Clan mech selections.

yes i am looking for competitive play, and no not droping the IS only limit. Clearly though that is not possible for many inner sphere players at this time so i will move on to faction play forums then. Thank you for your time, How ever if there are any- -other (inner sphere only) competitive play groups interested in gaining some one willing to listen or assist with leading
do not hesitate to contact me either here or on steam.

I just wanted to reiterate from my previous post so so so long ago:

Previous Competitive Experience/Teams: Yep

Any specific league/tournament: Nope

Region: USA

Times Available: I can be here almost constantly. I do sleep 3AM-11AM CT though.

Mic/VoIP access: Yep.

Willing to tag up with a unit: Yep.

In Game Name: Hordes1ayer2
Are You 18+-: No, 17 will be 18 in July
Previous Competitive Experience/Teams: I played with Forlorn Hope Mercenaries in MRBC matches but no other comp. play
Any Specific League/Tournament: Preferably MRBC other than that no
Region: North America
Times Available: Any day after 5 but not Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights. I can do Saturday and Sunday sometimes during the day from 1-5.
Mic/VoIP Access: I have a mic, I can join a discord or team speak server
Willing To tag With a Unit: No. I am part of Forlorn Hope Mercenaries and I want to keep the FLH tag
Addition Comments: Im still in school so during the day I can do anything and there may be times where my play is limited but if I am needed for a practice or a tournament game I can be ther except for Fridays and Sundays cause I work. I can handle myself in a brawl and preferably choose a CTF-OXP for brawling. I am good with MRMs and ATMs. I don't mind hoping in a heavy mech and being the tip of the spear of a push. I can adapt easily to new tactics and play styles.

Are you 18+: Yes
Previous Competitive Experience/Teams: None
Any specific league/tournament: MRBC+ and possible other smaller tourneys
Region: USA east coast
Times Available: Generally after 5 PM week nights and most times weekends
Mic/VoIP access: Yes
Willing to tag up with a unit: Possibly, will see
Additional comments: Started following MRBC near the end of last season and was interested in playing this season. I’m definitely no Div A or even B player but would love to drop with a team to practice and grow. I’m definitely willing to do practices multiple times a week and want to improve my skills beyond what pugging can teach me.

Are you 18+: Oh yeah.
Previous Competitive Experience/Teams: Nothing organized.
Any specific league/tournament: None.
Region: USA - West coast
Times Available:Currently - any ATM.
Mic/VoIP access: Yarp - willing to add in any 3rd party app a team would use as well.
Willing to tag up with a unit: Yup.

Additional comments: Played casually for a couple of years after MWO came out. Took a year or so off about the time Faction Play was introduced, and am now back at it for the last month or two. I'm up to speed on focus firing, knocking out weak components, mech maneuverability, and heat management. I often keep an eye on both the mini map, and battle grid to have an overall idea on team / enemy positions. I believe in team support, if a match team mate calls out for help, and I can swing it - I'm there.

Averaging 5-600+ DMG per round in my favorite mechs, and its not uncommon for me to see 800-900+ damage scores in them. Commonly practice with other chassis to hone in my skills / experience with different weapons types. I'm tired of solo Quick Play, or other wise just unorganized solo faction play. Just looking to get on with a good group of more organized players, with enough knowledge to help guide me and the team through improvement. Yet light hearted enough to recognize that not every round is a win, and won't get their panties all bunched up when there's a loss. Posted Image

NAME: Sebaztien Hawke

CALLSIGN: Killzone (Solaris VII) / Bastion (Field Ops)

TIME-ZONE: GMT +12 (NZ)

HOUSE/FACTION: As a mercenary, Hawke has worked primarily for Fed. Suns/ House Davion, the FRR, House Steiner and worlds in the Periphery. Hawke strongly dislikes the Draconis Combine and House Liao, refusing to serve them and taking pleasure in opposing them in field operations or the Solaris VII coliseum. With Clan Wolf/Black Widow company roots, Hawke has a neutral stance towards the Clans, considering their goal of unification of the Inner Sphere for the good of mankind to be a worthy one. He would not, however, want to see a strict caste system introduced and thus opposes certain warlike Clans.

PLAYSTYLE: Typically aggressive, Hawke prefers brawling battles to long range engagements, seeing LRM proliferation as a mark of cowardice on the battlefield. He tends towards flanking actions and guerilla-esque hit and fade strikes, and believes mech forces should regularly reposition to create opportunities as opposed to holding a static line. When a push is required, Sebaztien Hawke is a dependable part of the action, unafraid to trade armour for battlefield dominance. Favours direct fire weapons, especially autocannons, believing them to be the most honourable tools of the Mechwarrior’s trade.

ROLE/CHASSIS: Hawke is most successful in Heavy and Assault chassis ‘mechs. His garage consists of mechs of each class, and IS and Clan tech. Typically deploys in a Roughneck, Ebon Jaguar, Mad Cat Mk2, or Banshee, but has been spotted in other mechs including a Griffin, Shadowhawk, Hellspawn and Thanatos among others. MercNet rumours suggest Hawke has been breaking in Black Lanner, Fafnir and Blood Asp ‘mechs. Sebaztien is happy to fill almost any role with the exclusion of LRM fire support.

EXPERIENCE: Sebaztien Hawke has hundreds of hours of BattleMech combat under his belt, but feels he has more to learn and yet more to offer. He enjoys the company of Mechwarriors who are not afraid to use less orthodox tactics.

LANGUAGE: Sebaztien Hawke prefers to use English over the comm. during the 3055-56 Solaris VII seasons he was known for a “Whoo!” or wolf’s howl to make mech kills.

MRBC DOSSIER: Sebaztien Hawke was born into the Wolf’s Dragoons mercenary company, to Trueborn parents. Whether or not he was genetically enhanced inutero has not been confirmed. He grew up amongst warriors, learning the business of war from elite infantry soldiers, engineers, pilots and Mechwarriors. Hawke is considered proficient in unarmed combat, small arms, powered armour, Battlemechs and aerospace vehicles. He first piloted a ‘mech in battle at age 17, taking a Firefly out to reinforce his allies against the unexpected attack of a powerful criminal’s private army and holding back the conventional forces until the mech lance on patrol could return. He served in several Wolf’s Dragoons units through the late 3040s, honing his skills in multiple roles, before being sponsored to form his own affiliated mercenary company with friends from the Dragoons and others he’d met on his travels around the Inner Sphere. In the mid 3050s that unit was reformed as an independent force, with Hawke assuming the rank of Colonel. MRBC analysts now see this as a deliberate diversification by WDs to move 2nd generation personnel away from their banner before the Clan invasion. The unit, the 97th Pit Fiends, focussed on Solaris battles and earning a reputation for brutal, close range combat. It was in a refitted Roughneck armed with twin LB10-x autocannons and machine guns that Hawke took the name Chaindog and placed well for several seasons in the Heavy weight class. The unit took out of season mercenary work, trading on their Solaris reputation to earn higher than typical pay.

After the Clan invasion, the unit became less visible, and is believed to have fought on both sides in true merc fashion. Their final alliegance remains unknown.

AGE: 18+
VOIP: Yes, headset mic.

**Looking for casual team drops to find my feet in Faction Play. Best suited to Oceania groups due to time zone, or whatever works for GMT +12! Thanks!**

Are you 18+: Yes
Previous Competitive Experience/Teams: Almost none. Had few matches in MRBC.
Any specific league/tournament: N.A.
Region: Oceanic (UTC+7)
Times Available:
- Mostly available between 1 PM UTC to 6 PM UTC on business days, flexible on weekend
- Usually online as well outside of the above times but on/off

Mic/VoIP access: Yes
Willing to tag up with a unit: No.

Role/Chassis: Comfortable with Lasers, ballistics (gauss), pcc in Heavies and Assaults. I don't do very well with Light - ping is unfortunately a handicap as well as skill. I have 216 of IS and Clan mechs with around 80% of them mastered.

MWO: I started playing around April 2016. Tier 1 and I have been active in CW / FP. I held rank 18 Kurita until I switched faction. I used to post some screenshots of my QP/FP performance on Steam here, but not so much now.

Comments:
I am looking forward to be part of Comp Play team to learn from the better players as well as to contribute my values in Competitive Matches. The Jarl list may somewhat show how I strive to improve every season.

A little bit of myself:

Character: I like being with people with similar personal values - respect each other, no bs, no drama, understanding of different culture, get the job done, have fun while winning. I also believe getting feedback from other people (seeing yourself from the eyes of others) is very valuable for improvement.

Language: Not a native English speaker but I do speak and work in an English-speaking environment.

Are 18+: 28

Previous Competitive Experience/Teams: Yes - Antares Scorpions briefly. Did practice skirms, never competed officially. Quit the game for personal reasons.

Any specific league/tournament: I competed in a tournie hosted by CWI. Came in 2nd behind -MS-. Other than that, just the practice skirms with AS.

Time Available: I work a graveyard shift GT-8 Pacific, midnight to 8am. I'm available after that. Worst case scenario I'll engorge myself with 5 hour shots.

Region: N. America

Mic/VoIP access: Yes

Willing to tag up with a unit: Yes, but I would like to rejoin CWI after any tournament I participate in has been concluded if this is a fair demand to make.

Additional Comments: I only came back last month and still adjusting to somewhat a different meta compared to two years ago. I'm currently on the leaderboards (not that I'd use that as a defining metric) so I think that at least should speak that I understand the mechanics of the game.
Lights and mediums are currently my weakest area I think.
I can buy any mech if the team requires me to pilot it.
Think that covers it, feel free to PM me if you need more details, etc.
