Boss Fights In Mw5

My question is how will the boss fights be in mw5? Just your generic same old same old or should we expect something different?
My personal wish is that they put a superheavy mech as a boss surrounded by two lances of assault mechs. or a cool in-game scene in the frozen wasteland as one Kodiak tears itself out of the snow screaming as it crushes one of the mechs accompanying you (not your lance mate) followed by several Kodiaks and it leader tearing themselves out of the ice and snow.
What are your hopes for the boss fights or the very least semi boss fights?

If anything I'd say the most likely "boss" fight you're likely to have would be some lance of assault mechs and a base you have to capture with some pretty nasty defenses... Turrets, tanks, maybe even a big old dropship like an Overlord, maybe even a Fortress since they have Long Toms, and we had that for a brief period.

To be met with a Clam DLC addon to continue the story
An Assault when you've only got a Med would be a Boss Fight

Just harder opposition is fine - more, stronger opposition, heavier foes, etc. But ridiculous Mechs and such? No.
If the difficulty is tuned right and AI is competent, an equal opposition force should be challenging. Thus adding either heavier Mechs or just more should be able to ramp up the difficulty in a perfectly believable fashion.
Better AI aim for elite troops is totally reasonable too.
But big gamey boss Mechs? Absolutely not.

Totally agree.
So glad someone else said it.
Context can make it a "boss fight" then just make it epic. Like an epic battle in M&B which mostly involves being outnumbered because of the strategic situation.

No if there is a "boss" fight it would be something like an elite force showing up to confront you, something where you are out gunned...not some ridiculous stupid boss with a mini game (or just shoot it a bunch)...Take MW4 possibly..."bosses" were just better pilots in usually large mechs ect.
Also this is set well before Clans......SO no Clan mechs...
If I had to have a "boss" fight...it might be something like a major commander in an Atlas supported by heavies and other assaults.

Are you referring to the last mission of Mechassault 2? Because the boss you fought wasn't a Ragnarok, it was some kind of weird unnamed "uber mech" that wasn't even fully constructed (legs missing).

And most dramatic action stories present a villain type antagonist who gives the hero a hard time. I guess we will see that in MW5 too.
That is how such a fight looks like:

But I feel it wouldn't fit right in a MW game though, maybe have a boss battle against a named pilot using a normal mech with upgraded loadout and better aim?

There aren't boss fights in Mechwarrior. What do you think this is, an arcade game?

Just cuz it's Battletech/Mechwarrior doesn't mean they can't be creative.

In MechWarrior 4 series, there are various times where you meet an Elite or Ace pilot on the other side. Vengeance abused this a lot.
The types of Elite or Ace pilots included:
James Kulin, in the Desert Missions, you fight his Timberwolf - D configuration, alongside 3 Red Maddog Primes.
William Dresari, whom shows up to 1v1 the main character Ian in a Custom Daishi.
