Two suggestions:

1. Announce two mech packs each month 1 inner sphere and 1 clan. Make it the same class and pit them against each other encouraging more of that role play rivalry we have going on with a special reward if pre-order both before deadline.

2. Voice packs for betty and pilot Voice. Mech Voice pack ex; male voice, accents, ect. And pilot voice packs ex; female voice, clan and inner sphere accents, voice personalities like calm, wild, nervous, creepy, stubborn.

I would pay for reversing lights, reversing alarms and turn indicators. Bit of traffic management in deathballs and poke-fests.

A cape for the spider and ice ferret. I would pay real dollars for that.

Edit: Also mech hats. Hats for mechs.

8: the old suggestion to "hero" favorite Mechs (no cockpit items needed)

Yeah I agree this is better than cockpit items granting the bonus and also it'd probably make more money as people would wanna take the time to move the boosting items from one mech to another.

Cosmetics is the classic F2P model and PGI hasn't really done a whole lot with it TBO, same old skins on every mech for years.

New content is way overdue to keep players interested in actually spending money. Maps least of all.

I'm happy to spend money where I see value. But MWO has made itself hard to justify, its just a mech model, and then nothing until the next mech model. Its really obvious that people feel burned by that low return on $20-70 or more a month.

Hopefully the new mode is fun. Also the new tech will bring in some much needed flavor.

Haha no, Nvidia's even got some feature coming along that can allow rewatching by changing angles (in supported games only). Why reinvent the wheel?

Why are there so many people who don't understand a basic replay function?
Have you never played Star/Warcraft or any sports game or any other game with such a function?

It is NOT just a video and NOT just a 3D realtime video.

You could click stuff while watching it, seeing its ingame stats like health, ammo, heat.
You could have live stats (kill counts, generators, conquest score, etc.)
You could click and see from the pilot's point of view with cockpit, items, UI, etc.
You could customize all that like an ingame UI because it is exactely that.
It's more like a spectator mode after the match based on the recorded match meta data.
("meta" in its actual meaning, not what you guys falsely interpret in it)

It's not "reinventing the wheel". If that nvidia function is a wheel, then a replay function is a motorcycle.

And the data is already there. It's exactely the communication stream the server processes from every client.
They'd just have to dump that and build something that replays that ingame what has already been done during the original game.

Comparing a wheel to a motorcycle and with such arrogance. Unbelievable.

Better supply caches would be good. Get rid of weak prizes like weapons and omnipods and replace them with MC-only stuff, like decals, camos, and paints.

Then sell unlocked supply caches in the store.

I want to add some life to the mechbay. Some purchasable themed props would be cool. Or new backdrops, like outdoor refit station or windows or something other than the number 4. Oh and battlefield emotes like flyovers and stuff, that would be classy. Also hilarious.

People don't want to say it, but I'd be ok with a subscription. $10 a month, give me a new chassis every 30 days, a new map every 2.

A new map every two days would be a tall order...

You know what PGI needs?

Marketing! Don't know about you.. but here's an example of what I'm seeing in Croatia:
http://9gag.com/gag/app6Ly5

This one from 9gag is just an example..

WOT and WOWS commercials are everywhere, and those games are not much better than MWO, and are quite similar, but neither has the awesomeness of Battletech behind it.. yet, they seem more successful..

Because they ADVERTISE!

I think that 3 is the best idea right now, since it'd probably be the simplest to implement (and I would buy the hell out of these).

5, special sound packs, would be sweet as hell. I know that Tribes: Ascend did this with their in-game voice prompt system, and it seemed like 70% of the people I played with bought these. It'd probably take more work, but it wouldn't be too burdensome as it's not a gameplay-impacting change. Ideally just send the flags signifying which soundpack to use for which player when a player connects. Additionally, this could be cool if it goes beyond voice packs. New sounds for weapons could also be done in a similar way and I bet there are tons of players who'd like their lasers to go BWOOOOOOOOOMMmm instead of 'sheeeewp'.

5a. Hell, take it one step further and make special warhorn-like sound effects that are triggerable in-game, not just on a kill. Ride of the Valkyries, anyone?

2, custom geometry, is also a great idea, but it likely will take more work to make it feasible given the large number of mechs in game. I'd see two potential implementations: The geometry completely replaces a given component of a mech, and a geometry applique that the user could place like a decal.

I would pay to have Cockpit loadouts that I could default all of my Mechs to.

I'd probably even buy 7 of them at least just off the top of my head....

Davion, Wolf Dragoon, Drac, Wolf Clan, Team Banzai, Kell Hound, Ghost Bear.

That way I would have to hunt down all the warhorns as I buy new mechs. It saves time and would probably encourage me to buy more cockpit items because if I found a new favorite I could save it and get to it faster.

New thought, I'd pay if I could customize the color of my energy weapons. That would be pretty sweet.
