Remember Pgi Used To Have Special Geometry On Special Mechs?

For example, any of the upcoming heroes should have special geometry...
I know it's sorta undue burden, but there's absolutely no reason why a EBJ (I) which is essentially a Prime Variant looks a lot cooler than the upcoming Hero, which means something.
Same with IS heroes
I mean, you guys did it with the little siren on the Urbie... 20 bucks a mech on average, just show us some love, change some parts appearance to make them cool. Come on PGI, don't be lazy Suzy.
PS My 2 favorite special geometry mechs to be the "Bane Mask" EBJ and "Gundam" Blacknight.
I am still trying to figure out what's special about my ACH and SHC. If you know, please let me know. Cause I stare at those 2 for hours and couldn't figure out the special geometry that the store page promised. They look frankly the same as regular variants...
(come to think of it... neither does the Crab, Wolfhound, or Mauler look any different...)
Hum....
Wait a min....
(getting pitchfork ready)

The ACH got thigh pads and a hood thing. You'll see it more clearly if you switch camo - the special geometry just turns grey.
The Crab got spikes on the claws and different shoulders (they're more squared off).

We also did a forum poll with several hundred people participating, to show PGI that people wanted custom geometry. But they decided that it's not worth the effort, when they can just sell us expensive hero mechs and collector mechs, which are basically new skins with a different hardpoint configuration. Minimally viable product. The total price for all the Wave 2 Clan hero mechs is $160 and people are definitely talking more about hardpoints than textures, lore or lack of custom geometry, so... the market has spoken.
I guess they also don't want people to get too heavily invested in a single mech, they want people to get tired of their mechs and keep buying more and more new ones.

Well to be fair it looked like they were planning to work on it after decals were implemented but maybe they were distracted by models for the new tech?

If they were distracted and forgot about it, maybe they should stop writing down their plans on napkins.
