Cause PGI.
Edit: It needed those quirks just to be decent. It was never great, just decent even when it was quirked out. Now...... not so much even decent

I'd prefer increasing charge hold time.

At this point in time, I'd really prefer that PGI spent their limited resources on vastly improving the game itself. But I guess inflating hardpoints is a much easier job.

Sorry. Blame PGI though. Maybe send em a nice note. Since as some claim they only listen to whining, if enough folks whine, then maybe you will get your buffs and the extra hardpoint. Then again I've been bi7ching/whining about their nerfs to my favorite mechs for almost a year and they just plan on nerfing em some more.

Once MRM is released, this would probably be the new GI meta. The hunch becomes the deadside with the MG.

My earlier comment being a joke (+300% to HGR range), I'd like it to be quirked for the Gauss family (Light, regular, and Heavy).

Prolly be the new meta anyways. I mean MRM40, with a shield left torso that has as much as armor as the CT have?
Im already having a blast with my LRM20A build on that thing.
Still GI needs a buff if it were to stay relevant.

Relevant.
The GI needs a buff to stay relevant.
Well.
So, what does a Locust 3V need to be relevant? How about the Spider 5V or the Anansi? All the Firestarters, the Panther 10P, the Death's Knell? What's PGI gonna do to keep them relevant? How 'bout the St. Ives' Bules? The Kintaro, the Griffin 1S, the Dragons, the Orion 1-M, etc. etc. I am all for bad mechs getting buffs to be "relevant" but that isn't in the cards. You want relevant? I'd settle for viable. But PGI is still planning on nerfing most of these POSes for some bewildering reason.

I'm not PGI man. Please don't harang me for their bad decisions.

It's an IS Mech, Trust me, they won't even mention it. Only clan 'Mechs get the "OMG P2W!" screeching treatment.
You two must not read the forums very often, then
Or are just highly suggestive in your reading, and only seek to remember the things which fit your opinion

1.) Gauss Quirks
2.) It can Narc with an AC/20 on standby.
Those are the only reasons to use it.

Not to be too much of a d***, but in game where most players cant even press 'R' or look at their radar, how they gonna tell the difference between P2W and P2optimize-bad-mechs?

Replying to @BishopSteiner
I am fine disagreeing with the community on some aspects of balance as we have shown that is going to happen
Here is the reply about balance and the new skill tree. Good luck with that note.

P2optimize has been the running theme, heck some clan heros were heralded as that and the forum cheered. Now it seems piss and vinegar flows freely in the veins of most forumites and all they can do is excrete salt, at this point my salt farm will be having a glut of salt.
