For the hard boiled thing, I got the prize easily. I just made sure to turn on override, then took internal damage. I then disengaged it before I blew up and pop.

Don't know if this was addressed yet but could be get something showing what we have left to kill (mech class and type)? Would be nice...

Did you try overheat-auto-shutdown, after that turn on override, then survive and win the match with enough score? That worked for me, in a Night Gyr. After the first auto-shutdown and after turning on override, I had a few overheat warnings and some internal heat damage.

I really enjoy the latest event format. Much better than the "do this score and open a random prize". "Open a Prize" events are cool because you look for free mc but the "do this and this with that" are Fun, i like fun.

Yes, it is free stuff, but it should work properly anyhow and not lead to confusion.

I thought it read differently yesterday, but after reading how some are getting it, and the way I read it now.
you engage the Override, while you are over heating.
not overheat shutdown then engage override as I thought it was first written. either the description was changed, or I just read into it wrong

I'll try it the way I read/understand it now and see what happens

No I shutdown in my Catapult Buzzy Bee an it counted.
In fact all my previous drops in which I thought I had this in the bag but did not get awarded I didn't shutdown

Where is my decal? I received notice of an account injection of a fire warning decal for the heat override thing but it did not appear in my decals "warehouse.". Am I missing something?

OK TO EVERYONE THATS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE HARD BOILED EVENT.

OVERHEAT AND GIVE IT A SECOND THEN OVERRIDE THEN WHEN U COME BACK UP U SHOULD HAVE THE EVENT DONE, AND MAKE SURE U HAVE TAKEN SOME DAMAGE BEFORE U OVERRIDE.
i also after that turned it off and on again maybe try that as well...

ps. yes i was writing this in all caps.

thats the way i did it so it should work.

Finally got hard boiled to work.

I shutdown due to heat.
WHILE shutdown I immediately hit the OVERRIDE button and left override on for the rest of the match.

Won the match, survived, and got a match score over 100 and got the award.

Yeah, got Hard Boiled first time I was trying for it. The trick seems to be one KEY trigger:

OVERRIDE DURING the shutdown, NOT before or after.

On a side note, Oxide was noted by someone else as non-jj mech listed. Good catch. Anyone else notice the WVR-6K? No JJ on that variant.
