I don't really mind about IK, its very low on my list of things I waiting for PGI to work on/release.

Inverse Kinematics, it is a thing where a mech or character's feet follows the ground. So in MWO you wouldn't have say a mech standing on an incline supported by nothing, instead it's toes, ankles, knees, and legs would adjust to follow the terrain. The issue PGI says they have is that the lag compensation system they have has weird interactions with IK which has kept it being pushed back for about a year now. It is something they want back since they keep getting it mostly working and it just kind of just by the sounds of it a bug hunt for exploits or some such.

Caz, you started a salt thread just for the sake of setting up that line?
My what a lame attempt at humor. Gimped even.

Booo, not punny.

Seriously though, the reasons I can see why it keeps getting pushed back is coding issues while interacting with the game physics. Also, dynamic hotboxes following the legs trough possibly very odd angles. The legs can potentially glitch into the torso when you're sideways on a steep enough incline/decline. Et cetera. Things like this takes experience and manpower to do properly. Both are things PGI is lacking at the moment. They haven't done this for any of their other games before, and how many of the ~65 people they have are working on it and have done this before?
