Great job, a small number of the loudest whiners have lead to a neutering of the latest clan mech release. Like seriously, Club Penguin shut down, and now the same people want MWO to be their new "safe place".

The same people who whined about it, wouldn't have the skill to make any difference with or with out them anyways. Instead they are just stifling creativity and mech science for every one else.

Congratulations, the terrorists have won.

*Edit:C bill variants I dig, but there are still several nerfed variants that will never have their full glory.

*Edit 2: Holy hell did this do an amazing job at stirring up every social justice warrior, blind pleb, and general MWO stereo type possible. Congrats, you all get blue ribbons just for showing up.

Any ways, back to the subject matter. These mechs got screwed:

"The following Clan Heroes have received changes to their original Loadouts:
• Executioner EXE-CH (jump to changes)
• Shadow Cat SHC-MI (jump to changes)
• Ice Ferret IFR-RC (jump to changes)"

None of these mechs were not in any way OP before, or would of they have been OP after release. I'm cool with 1st day c bill release variants, but as another side affect of the whining from the blue ribbon yearning safe space kids, these 3 mechs got nerfed.

*Edit 3: and you guys whining about the use of the word "terrorism", you play a sci-if game about 100ton big stompy robots that literally murder people with every step they make shooting lasors and death from their bosums. Stop being so sensitive and literal.

PGI is releasing 8 new C-bill variants as a result of the terrorist threats, and there is no more possible claim to "P2W."

I say "YAY TERRORISTS! And YAY PGI!"

This is the best outcome of terrorist threats in the history of terrorism.

It was good that PGI is offering more and fair choice with C-Bill pods, but end result is still powercreeping.

Such is the nature of omnimechs, I suppose. Omnipods by design will powercreep overtime. At this rate, after a couple of years, every omnimech will be able to have 9+ energy/ballistics/missiles.

Im really pleased and surprised they removed p2w. Now, if they would make new content faster (skill tree and new tech needed yesterday) they would be one of the best freetoplay game developers.

Was considering on getting the Scat (liked the camo) and was interested to see what i could do with a 4th missile slot since we'd have new tech by then... useless now.

Congratulations guys, you just cost PGI a potential $15 (at least from just that). Keep whining about p2w, you're doing a great job getting PGI the funding they need to keep the lights on.

You just can't please some people.

Some Developers and studios would never have even considered a change of plans like this, simply over player concerns. But there will always be people who will complain no matter what anybody does.

McDonalds could announce tomorrow that they are going to once again sell their Szechuan dipping sauce due to popular demand, and you'd still have people whining and complaining about it.

"How dare you cave and empower all of the terrorists on social media, McDonalds? How dare you give your customers what they want?!?"

It's called feedback, PGI decided it was valid in both the Skill Tree PTS and the Heros and decided to act, just because you disagree with the feedback does not mean it is any less valid then when you agree with Feedback or stuff PGI does.

Pretty straight downgrade for the eternally hardpoint-starved Shadow Cat and the C-Bill version is... well, 2 hardpoints, really?

Brutal cut for the Executioner too. C-Bill version additions are great, but I'd probably be asking for a refund if I'd gotten either of those two.

Executioner hero is still decent, even after nerf. You can run 4xASRM6s + 7 energy build, using the D-LA. I would personally compromise and let it have 3 missiles combined on the torsi though.
